o Inspecting the Incoming Materials with specified requirement as per MR & PO.
o Reviewing MTCs as per TDC, ASME, ASTM, API, IS & other international standards etc.
o Preparation of ITP/QAP, QCM as per U-Stamp & Project Requirements.
o Studying of Various Drawings of Structural, Vessels and Isometric’s for Piping and P&IDs.
o Inspection of Pre-Fabrication & Fabrication Joints of Structural, Piping & Pressure Vessels includes marking, fit-up and dimensional check before & after welding as per AFC Drawings and with approved WPS.
o Carryout Visual Inspection on Completed Welds.
o Witness NDT Testing’s and Carry out RT Films Interpretation.
o Preparation/review and approval of weld maps
o Selection of Welding Consumables for different materials
o Writing QA/QC Procedures related to Fabrication and welding
o Welding Performance analysis for the welding process (es) SMAW, SAW, GMAW, and GTAW.
o Conducting MOCK-UP tests for expansion of Tubes in Heat Exchangers.
o Inspection of heat exchanger tubes for flattening, flaring, eddy current, tensile, chemical and air under water pressure test at the supplier works.
o Witnessing Hydro-Test, Air Test & Pneumatic Testing’s as per Approved Procedure.
o Monitoring / Inspection of Painting activity (checking of blasting profile, surface preparation and measuring of wet film thickness and dry film thickness) as per Inspection& Test Plan stages.
o Surface preparation and corrosion protection inspection for painting.
o Carryout Adhesion Test, Bend Test & Holiday Test.
o Preparation of All Stage wise inspection reports.
o Witnessing Mechanical, Metallurgical Tests & certifying.
o Maintaining adequate records and list of WPS, PQR & WPQR
