• Identify suppliers on international level (mainly China).
• Monitors market trends and oversees advertising and marketing activities.
• Negotiate with international suppliers.
• Pricing, merchandising and product supply.
• Improving products sales and market share.
• Identify and evaluate commercial opportunities and new products.
• Create and present new opportunities that support category growth strategies and profitability targets.
• Provide high-quality products from a manufacturer at a good price to local factories.
• Managing a product category as a strategic business unit.
• Conducting weekly meetings with the team to identify the problem areas and implement proper solutions.
• Responsible of the purchases of all Electrical Appliances and Multimedia
• Accountable on negotiating and closing best deals with suppliers on national and international level, with all its after deal processes including the financials.
• Accountable on the stock movement.
• Prepare weekly promotion and seasonal catalogs (Great Deals and Electronics Catalog).
• Prepare daily and weekly reports of the sales figures, stock level and availability.
• Attend weekly meeting with the Merchandise Manager to discuss sales figures upcoming plans and strategies.
• Reporting to Country Division Manager.
• Stay up to date with market competition( offers, prices)
• Follow up with VIP clients
• Coordination with the other departments’ i.e accounts dept, central sales dept, H.R dept, etc.
• Administration
• Giving proper guidance and support for the sales team to achieve targets.
• Conducting weekly meetings with the sales team to identify the problem areas and implement proper solutions.
• Control of classes and schedules
• Managing staff, planning incentive schemes for the sales team.
