Konzum d.o.o. Sarajevo is Croatia's largest supermarket chain based in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with just over 250 stores open and more than 4, 000 employees. There are also Konzum stores in Croatia and in Serbia. Konzum serves over 650, 000 customers each day.
I am responsible for:
-Managing loss prevention and Inventory Control program for more than 250 retail stores,
-Taking accountability for the Annual and Perpetual inventory and stocktaking programs,
-Track inventory losses and quantify losses by category of item and item sold,
-Identify problem areas and make recommendations to senior management with regards to lowering shrinkage and spoilage,
-Analysis of additions and deletions of inventory in order to support inventory balance movements for reporting,
-Developed cycle count procedure and consistently attained 95% inventory record accuracy,
-Developing a clear strategy and vision for the Inventory Management field team in order to significantly reduce inventory shrink,
-Recommend, develop, and conduct training programs and process improvement actions,
-Measure receiving errors and document findings in order to improve internal processes and issue mandatory training to receiving staff,
-Developing and facilitating implementation of new procedures and processes to enhance operational capability and store activity performance
Inventory control to maintain optimum stock Levels in tune with company policy to achieve turnover, Planning, coordinating and monitoring of receipt, Creating documents on receipt of goods, Confirm the goods in the received shipments and save record of any differences, Storage and distribution of goods, Updating monthly delivery and transfer reports, Employees management in the warehouse department, Ensuring that all KPIs meet their goals, reports are relevant and accurate
Preparation of purchase orders and sales of consumer goods, Maintain strict control on the retail receivables, Creating merchandise plans and coordinate sales, Analysis of costs, spendings and sales, Provide training for other members of the sales team, Monitoring of competitors including market conditions and products development, Making follow-up contacts with previous visitors to the store
Managing security guards routine and implementing procedures for safe guarding and controlling visitors, staff, equipment, car park issues and etc., Ensure security department staff is trained by the agencies and in-house training periodically and follow safety and security in Mall, Providing technical direction to subordinates on fault finding diagnoses and repairs.
