Monitoring and managing a team of Operations & Engineering of Apapa Terminal at Lagos, as a Head Installation Operations and direct reporting to the MD.
Liaising with Contractors, Dealers, Transporters, Customers, Jetty Operations, Supply and Distribution Departments for daily loading & unloading operations.
Developing daily out turns, stock accounting and stock reconciliation.
Handling loading & unloading of Marine Oil Tankers and Tank Trucks.
Transporting routine field maintenance, operation and maintenance of oil water separator.
Overseeing various issue work permits in compliance to safety standards.
Coordinating with various Govt. statutory bodies for obtaining various licenses.
Handling Liquid Cargo Jetty Operations at Apapa port.
Focus on better business prospects thereby enhancing sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for Operations & Maintenance of entire Crude Oil cross country pipeline of 1005 KM from COTMundra(Gujarat) till CRT-Bathinda(Punjab)of HMPL, subsidiary of Hindustan Mittal Energy Ltd (HMEL).
• Overall responsible for smooth function of Crude storage terminal at Mundra(Gujarat- West coast of India) of 850, 000 KL along with pumping operations associated with 3 nos. of intermediate booster stations situated at Deesa(Gujarat), Dhansa(Rajasthan), Jodhpur(Rajasthan) & Crude receiving terminal of 120, 000 KL at Bathinda(Punjab) followed by final pumping to 9 MMTPA HMEL Refinery at Bathinda, situated in North India.
Key Responsibilities:
• Spearheading the establishment & optimisation of day-to-day operations & maintenance in the company across all the installations in West and East Africa as regards, Terminals/Depots, Retail Outlets & Aviation browsers
• Recommending the management team on key planning issues &suggesting on important business decisions
• Establishing and implementing operational process/process improvement
• Supervising all the projects for business & capacity expansion
• Implementing quality control of company output as pertains to customer acquisition & delivery of services
• Setting ooperational & performance goals to ensure that progress is being made
• Monitoring and evaluating performance reporting system
• Ensuring activities comply with organisational requirements for quality management, legal stipulations & general duty of care
• Addressing and resolving issues between the departments
• Take charge in high priority cases

• Handled a team of Shift Engineers, Shift Managers & Deputy Managers as Chief Crude Manager
• Worked closely with contractors for erection & construction of Terminal & Jetty
• Interfaced the Community Leaders for various settlements to ensure hitch free operations
• Managed pre-commissioning & commissioning of terminal & jetty as per barge loading / bunkering facilities
• Accountable for pipeline transfer of 18 Km distance from crude processing flow station to jetty tanks; directly loaded into barges & stock loss accounting from flow station till FSO
• Provided supervision bunkering / fuelling of AGO / PMS to barges & speed boats
• Executed STS transfer operations from barge to barge and FSO to export vessels
Key Responsibilities:
• Led a team of Shift Engineers, Shift Managers & Deputy Managers as Location In-charge at IOTDronagiri Terminal,
Navi Mumbai and IOC Terminal (JNPT)
• Interacted with Contractors, Dealers, Transporters, Customers, Terminal Booster, Jetty Operations, Supply & Distribution Departments for daily loading & unloading operations of Marine Oil Tankers, Tank Trucks & Railway Wagons
• Liaised with Koyali (Gujarat) Refinery for PLT (Pipeline Transfer)
• Established daily tank modes, out turns & stock accounting
• Handled the pigging of cross-country pipeline from jetty to terminal with air & nitrogen
• Transported the routine field maintenance operations & maintenance for oil water separator
• Looked after various issue work permits as per O.I.S.D. standards
• Involved in Liquid Cargo Jetty Operations at JNPT
• Managed high HSSE standard as per Oil Tanking Norms
Key Responsibilities:
• Executed the following operations related to Offshore Well Head Platforms:
o Handled large gas processing as well as Crude Processing Complex at Tapti Field, Panna &Mukta field
o Tested well fluid through test separator and checked well head control panel pressures
o Maintained S.C.S.S.V. Pressure Vessel, Testing & Production Headers, Firefighting Facilities, Opening / Closing the Wells, Servicing of Choke Manifold, Bull Plug and Pigging Operations
• Looked after the following operations related to Gas Processing Complex:
o Processed Gas & Condensate/Glycol Circulation Pumps, tested samples of Overboard Water for Condensate Content/Sample for water content & Glycol Sample for moisture content, thereby maintaining the quality of processing fluids by adjusting required process parameters
o Maintained the quality of gas with Dew Point and undertook corrective actions accordingly
• Handled the following related to Crude Processing Complex:
o Processed & sweetened Crude and tested the samples of Overboard Water for Oil Content (The processed crude was sent to Load Crude Oil Tankers through Subsea pipeline in stabilised mode)
o Maintained the quality of crude with H2S gas content and undertook corrective actions accordingly
Key Responsibilities:
• Handled shift operations at Onshore Gas Processing Complex at Great Indian Desert of Thar in Rajasthan, connected to Dandewala & Tanot Field Gas Wells
• Handled operations at Gas Processing Complex(GGS)& routed to Tanot Gas Gathering Station
• Handled Pigging operations conducted at regular time intervals
• Maintained quality of dispatched gas through close monitoring of dew point
• Injection of Methanol into incoming gas line to prevent the formation of hydrates, especially in winter
• Monitoring entire process through Centralized Control Room equipped with SCADA system
