Construction of Lusail Plaza Tower Project, Lusail City, Qatar
The Project consisting of 2-70th storey twin towers and 2-50th storeys twin towers in Lusail City
and extends across an area of 38 square kilometres and includes four exclusive islands and
19 multi-purpose residential, mixed use, entertainment and commercial districts. It is a
comprehensive arena with leisure spots, residential buildings, commercial towers, avenues
and public Marinas.
The city of the future can accommodate 200, 000 residents and 170, 000 employees; it will
also welcome over 80, 000 visitors. The total estimated capacity of Lusail will eventually reach
450, 000 people. The city also includes numerous residential units, office buildings of various
sizes and 22 hotels with different international star ratings, making it an element of attraction
for investment in Qatar.
- Assist the Senior Engineer in Performing his duties.
- Assist in the review of Contractors Technical submissions to Senior
Engineer.
- Overview of the Contractor's Installation and construction Methods.
- Overview of the Contractor execution of the works.
- Overview of the testing during the construction period.
- Ensuring implementation of project-specific Quality requirements.
- Perform quality control and ensure that the works are carried out in
accordance with the Drawings and specification.
- Ensure inspection beings carried out as per ITPs.
- Inspection of material through material inspection report prior to usage
- Perform a verity of field and laboratory test to assure workmanship and
material meet required standards.
- Inspection of completed works through inspection report following
established ITP

Development of AL WA'AB City Central District, Qatar
The AWC (AL WA’AB CITY) project comprised of Road/Site works, Architecture,
Geotechnical, Site Sub-station, Telecommunications, Electrical, and Mechanical works for
the following areas; 336, 800 sq.m. of residential, 12, 500 sq.m. retail program, 25, 700 sq.m.
5 star-hotel, 5, 870 sq.m. Office spaces.
- Providing all necessary assistance to the team with respect to all material
submittals, approvals, testing, sampling, etc.
- Participate in the quality control of materials including all the laboratory and field
testing, acceptance of materials, checking and accepting all remedial and
corrective measures. Supervise the works of the work inspectors for quality
assurance/quality control.
- Review and recommend for the approval by the Resident Engineer of all
submitted materials (Material Approval and Method Statement) by the
contractor.
- Ensure compliance of materials with the projects specifications
- Participate in construction quality control
- Supervise and participate for the direct sampling and testing of all
materials according to the contract and the specifications.
- Analyse the test results in a timely manner and recommends action to the
Resident Engineer.
- Maintain records of test results and all taken corrective actions.
- Track and review the site testing and certificate of compliance.
- Ensure very close and clear coordination of the team activities with the
other construction supervision staff.
- Follow up and verify implementation of corrective actions.
- Ensure inspection and checking of all delivered materials to site for
conformance to the project requirements and approval, as directed the
Resident Engineer.
- Sets up the type, number and frequency of tests required and defines the
acceptance criteria.

Development of Internal Security Force (ISF) Camp at Al Duhail, Qatar
The ISF Project comprised of Site Grading of main roadway corridors, Detection, location
and protection, and diversion of existing utilities as needed to maintain existing services or
provide interim services to existing buildings. All primary and secondary road works,
including parking areas; bus lay-byes, sidewalks, bike paths, traffic signage, pavement
markings, and main parade area. Proposed foul sewerage system including sewage
pumping stations and sewage treatment plant. Proposed storm water drainage system
including gravity collection system and retention structures. Proposed potable water system
including storage, pumping, metering, and distribution; and optional backup potable water
supply system; proposed irrigation system including storage, pumping and distribution.
Proposed fire water system including storage, pumping, and distribution. Proposed chilled
water reticulation system. Proposed power distribution system. Proposed communication
and security system containment. Proposed street, parking lot, and main parade area
lighting. Tie-in points to existing services which may be outside the boundary wall.
- Inspect engineering works of material used on site such as
formworks/shuttering and installation of steel reinforcement and during
concreting casting. Witness the testing and sampling of materials to be
used on site
- Inspect asphalt works including sampling and temperature control during
batching and laying process
- Inspect the excavation, backfilling, and laying of aggregates courses for
road works and structural foundations
- Inspect manhole and trench construction, Qtel Ducts, Street Lights Ducts.
TSE and Irrigation Ducts.
- Inspect material used in architectural works by the direction of the
Architect
- Observe works in progress to ensure that procedures are followed and
materials used conform to specifications.

- Supervise civil and structural activities concerned with application of
Construction Methods and maintenance of quality standards for
materials, and products:
- Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing, and

- Devises sampling procedures and designs and develops forms and
instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability
data.

at Project Site, Sieve Analysis of Soils, Design Mix for concrete structures,
Structural Strength of Reinforcing Bar, Concrete Compressive Strength,
Bearing Strength and Analysis of the Physical Properties of Construction
Materials. Atterberg Limits and Soil Classification, and other related
quality tests.
