•Operate the PLC / DCS of Instrument air package unit, Gas Turbine / power generation, Gas Compressor, Fire water system, Substations. AHU.
• Trouble-shoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic or hydraulic problems.
Visually inspect and test machinery.
• Listen for unusual sounds from machine or equipment to detect malfunction to diagnose problem and repair machines.
• Clean and lubricate machines, including dismantling and repair.
• Responsible for the safe and efficient work done on various pieces of equipment.
• Troubleshoots repairs and maintains electrical distribution systems including Emergency and Normal lighting system, electric motors, electric controls, fire alarms, Instrumentation.
• Complete PM and CM work orders scheduled daily and report to Maintenance Lead.
• Installs, troubleshoots and repairs new equipment and systems, including programmable lighting controls.
• Completing daily work orders in a timely fashion. Train others in the mechanical field and work alongside of operations.
• Work on all mechanical equipment including gas compressors, generators and pumps. Clean up and storage of tools, parts and fittings in warehouse. Putting together lists of parts or materials for jobs to be done.
• Responsible for maintenance and repairs of 42MW/11 KVA Gas Turbine Generator generators and Emergency diesel generator engines. Responsible for providing lists of spare parts, control panels and required tools and equipment.
• Handle the responsibilities of maintaining logs, records and various files related to technical information.
• Maintain proper documentation, including maintenance records, Generate CMMS, work orders. Safety and environmental reports.
• Equipment control such as Voltage transformers, circuit breakers from 230 to 11KVA lines and power transformers that regulate the flow of electricity through Substation of electric power system through SCADA.
• HSE Courses Completed - First Aid, Emergency response team, Permit to Work, Risk assessment, Lock Out Tag Out, Work at Height.
• Commissioning and testing of 100kva power transformer by conducting insulation resistance test, no load test, vector group test, magnetic balance test, transformer winding resistance test, voltage ratio test and protection device check.
• Perform energization in field equipment’s such pump motors for test and commissioning during no load and load run schedule.
• Test and Commission of Emergency Diesel Generator.
• Assist ABB vendor for conducting primary and secondary injection of MV and LV switchboard prior to energization.
• Perform function, static and dynamic testing of electrical equipment’s based on commissioning procedures and approved project standards.
• Perform in hi -pot test of MV/ LV cables, bus bars rated 6.6 KVA in preparation for start-up.
• Prepare commissioning work packs, filling up and viewing finished check sheets.
• Perform loop checking, trouble shooting, fault finding, rectification, repair and maintenance of all non-functional electrical equipment’s.
• Functional testing of protection and control circuits to ensure safety and reliability of equipment’s during start - up.
• Conduct continuity test, loop test, IR test, RCD test and include parameter settings based on vendor’s manual.
• Participates in Mechanical Completion Inspection, Punch list, Pre - Commissioning, Commissioning and energization start - up activities.
• Coordinate with the supervisors or to the commissioning lead.
• Perform LOCK OUT, TAG OUT (LOTO)
Troubleshoots, repairs and maintains electrical distribution systems including electric motors, electric controls, fire alarms • Installs, troubleshoots and repairs new equipment and systems, including all tower lights and programmable lighting controls. • Handle the responsibilities of maintaining logs, records and various files related to technical information. • Responsible for maintaining preventive measures on the diesel power generators as well as its associated components like cooling, lubrication and fuel systems. • Responsible for changing damaged electrical motors. • Perform the tasks of inspecting and installing racking for storage
