• Plan the implementation of telecom, Nav Aid and FGS projects for FPSO, well head platforms, FSO, Jack Up Rigs and onshore plants.
• Direct, lead and motivate a group of 8 engineers team for successful project delivery
• Identify resources requirement, assign responsibilities and coordinate directly and indirectly project staff to ensure successful completion of the project.
• Undertake regular project reviews in terms of budget containment and project timescales
• Resource planning, project scheduling and tracking, task risk assessment, provide development updates to management team.
• Provide monthly financial status reports for the projects, highlighting matters of concern and analysis of budget variances
• Ensure that the project execution follows the agreed company procedures and establish project controls to the current corporate standards in order to protect the organization
• Monitor and ensure that any drawings generated by drafting section is properly established to reflect the required design details and to the good engineering practice.
• Involve in project on-going activities and help engineers to resolve issues
• Actively monitor, review and approve vendor deliverables & components in accordance and compliance with an acceptable standards and code.

• Develop system design and technical drawings in order to meet customers’ and comply with international standards of API, ABS and other.
• Design, install, configure and program Siemens / Koyo PLCs for controlling safety, meteorological and telecom systems.
• Provide on-site technical assistance to service team to ensure successful installation and commissioning of instrumentation cables, junction boxes, field equipment and others.
• Conduct IAT / FAT test to check designed system against customer requirements.
• Train project and service teams on project management and, testing and configuration of microwave radios, PLC, sensors, controllers and other equipment.
• Work closely with sales team to provide technical support to ensure that the proposed projects meet international marine safety standards and customer requirements.
• Coordinated and supervised academic projects to ensure smooth progress and successful completion of final semester BEng projects.
• Performed evaluation, planning and development of various academic courses and responsible for staffing, staff induction and student orientation
• Conducted regular staff meetings and student counseling.
• Also organized and executed staff development programmes for teaching & non-teaching staffs.
• Delivered lecture for B.Eng (Hons) & HND (Higher National Diploma) programmes of University of Sunderland/EDEXCEL, UK
• Work closely with executive board to develop and implement academic plans.
Provided technical training on industrial automation, DCS and SCADA that includes networking, PLC/Microcontroller programming, sensors and actuators for fresh diploma students and new technicians to implement their projects in working environment in the field of controls and drives. Coordinated and supervised B.Eng & HND final semester projects to ensure smooth progress and successful completion of the project.
Designed and implemented controls for Water Treatment Plant and a boiler of thermal power plant. Responsibilities included development & configuration of PLC control and preparation of documents. Writing, testing and programming ladder logic for Allen Bradley PLC. Also provided technical support to maintenance group to ensure the reliability of electrical facility. Specific projects include:

Designed closed loop cooling water system using PLC for sewage influent pump bearings and Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) system in the waste water treatment plant. The system was configured for monitoring and controlling of temperature in influent pump bearings and VFD.
Tuticorin Thermal Power Station, Tutucorin. India.
Major upgrade to existing coal fired boiler plant with complete replacement of all existing control such as ID & FD fans’ speed, drum level, light/heavy oil guns, coal feeder, steam/temperature monitoring and combustion Control.
