• Ensuring availability and delivery of right quality materials at the right time, price and terms; devising efficient logistics management system to ensure delivery of the goods / shipments as per committed timelines and cost
• Managing effective & efficient costing system resulting in cost reduction, business process and procedures for improving performances
• Planning, directing and maintaining an efficient warehouse operation; assigning and evaluating the work performance of personnel assigned to the warehouse
• Regulating Program & Project Management, including DC Automation for 64, 000 Sq.m warehouse with Conveyors and Sorters. (Project Budget AED 180 Million)
• Regulating roll out of E-commerce for Sporting Goods
• Carrying out SAP ERP and VAT Implementation for GCC Region

• Monitored Supply Chain for Max Fashion Retail with annual logistics budget AED 87 Million
• Managed day-to-day logistics operation for a business handling 4500 FEU per year from 500+ suppliers (majorly from APAC) through various supply chain networks across 15 countries for 175+ stores
• Facilitated annual freight contracts with liners/forwarders/transporters, Risk management, utilizing regional trade agreements and ensuring regulatory trade compliance standards
• Engaged in:
o CFS operations in China / India / Bangladesh
o Inventory control across all DC’s and monthly review of 3PL and warehouse operations across GCC
o Data integrity, logistics MIS and visibility of goods from supplier until stores
• Supervised a team of 18 executives for imports, exports and MIS
• Logistics Vendor Management, Procurement and Sourcing
• Engaged in Process Optimization, Supplier Compliance, Lead time reduction and Business process improvements across Supply Chain nodes (Group business volumes of 30000 FEU’s through various supply chain networks across 21 countries)
• Contributed towards redesigning & automation of all warehouses across GCC and roll out of WMS (Oracle Retail)
• Ensured effective implementation of Voice pick and Put-To-Light (PTL) for warehouse operations
• Worked on streamlining warehouse operations across GCC, review Manpower & Space planning, and Warehouse productivity
• Performed as an active part of Solution design team for development of Supply Chain Portal for all suppliers, service providers and internal stakeholders for end-to-end visibility of stock within online workflows of all key supply chain processes
• Assimilated requirements from business heads and work as a channel of communication between business and IT
• Regulated set up of distribution network and contract logistics for new territories (Including Planning & Procurement and Customer Service)

• Ensured effective implementation of RF EAS Soft Tagging at Source, resulting 1.3% increase in margins (Savings of $1.5 Million)
