• Providing HR strategic support to Dubai and Abu Dhabi branch of the Bank.
• Responsible for conceptualizing, designing, documenting and implementng HR policies and procedures as per local regulations as well as the guidelines of the Head Office (Beijing).
• Handling the complete recruitment process for both the branches.
• Developing the talent pool from Middle East, Singapore, China, Hong Kong and Malaysian market.
• Preparing the annual recruitment plans by working closely with the business heads, as per Head Office policies while also ensuring the compliance of local laws .
• Conducting the HR round of interview for all the positions, preparing and issuing offers as well as handling all the pre-joining formailities.

• Taking initiatives to ensure the achievement of Emiratization target of the branch.
• Working with the external lawyers as well as inhouse legal counsels for drafting and implementing various HR contracts like employment contract, training contract, internship contract, confidentiality agreement etc.
• Dealing with Central Bank of the UAE (for Abu Dhabi branch) as well as DFSA (for DIFC branch) for the concerned regulator’s compliance in the HR department. Also handle the HR related correspondence with the regulators.
• Handling the Full & Final settlement as well as confirmation process of the employees.
• Handling the recruitment process of Corporate and OGP (Oil & Gas Projects) office of AHI Carrier.
• Working with the Business Heads for streamlining the grading and reporting structure of the organization and capturing the job descriptions for all the divisions.
• Assisting the HR head in developing and managing the performance management process.
• Documentation of company’s policies and processes.
• Managing the employee leaves, insurance and visa related processes.
• Preparing monthly head count reports and sharing with Finance department for salary disbursement.
Policy Designing and Implementation:
• Ownership of the Standard operating procedures for HR function of the organization
• As a continuous effort, introduced new process initiatives within GEMS like “Beyond HR Balance Sheet”, “Mini Six Sigma projects”, “Footprints” etc.
• Spearheaded the Annual Employee Survey “Speak to Improve” for the Organization.
• Automation of various HR processes like Cost of hiring module, Offer Honor rate tracker, Training module, HR Project trackers, Employee Turnover trackers, GPRS etc.
2. Recruitment
• Designed annual recruitment calendar for organization as per the Annual operating plan (AOP)
• Created niche strategic recruitment plans for each function while working closely with respective Business heads
• Manpower planning and positioning for the field service team at PAN India level.
• Preparing Management presentations and dashboards on recruitment status and conducting weekly reviews with MD and company President
• Conduct vendor empanelment and evaluation on quarterly basis and implement course corrections
3. Employee Turnover:
• Closely monitoring the attrition rate on real time basis through initiatives like RCC (Retention Color Codes), CP-EP forms (Candidate profiling-Employee profiling), i-boss etc to reduce the associated costs.
• Conducting weekly and monthly review meeting with State Heads to address attrition rates and employee engagements
• Studying the demographic attrition rate pattern in the organization, identifying the problem areas and bringing improvements through various HR interventions
4. Training and Development:
• Actively worked on creating the Learning Management System (LMS) for Organization, including requirement gathering, developing training calendars, monitoring and ensuring it’s execution .
• Planning and creating the annual Induction and Re-orientation training programs for cultural alignment of the employees,
• Developing Skill Matrices for the field engineers of GEMS.
5. Performance Review System:
• Worked on revamping the performance review system of the organization.
• Documented the complete GPRS (GEMS Performance Review System).
• Captured the detailed KRAs of all categories of employees across GEMS.
• Played a key role in automating the entire performance review system of the organization.
6. Others:
• Analysis of crucial HR data and presenting the analyzed report to the management.
• Preparing and issuing offer letters and working towards improving the offer honor rate of the organization.
• Worked as a Regional HR coordinator for the South region of GEMS.
• Also played the role of PLI (Performance Linked Incentive) coordinator for the HR department for its successful implementation in the department.
