_ Primarily responsible for the following activities:
· To assist Head of Corporate Credit, in performing the credit functions related to Corporate Credit segment. · Analysing & recommending acceptance/rejection of credit proposals (new/annual/interim). · Works under time constraints in order to meet the demands generated by client expectations. · Responsible for monitoring and ensuring compliance with the credit policies and guidelines .
· Credit Risk Evaluation : Managing a portfolio of high value, large sized clients engaged in diversified business activities. The financial (Credit impairment and/or losses) of this job is medium to hig h. · Where a credit decision is required, escalate the application to Head of Corporate Credit for direction, review, comment and potential approval as per delegation matrix. · Ensure compliance with credit policies, regulatory directives, procedures, TAT, SLAs and bank wide guidelines. · Analysing financial statements in order to evaluate credit quality and portfolio risk. · Credit Process Management: Understanding inherent risks involved in credit proposal related to industry outlook and general parameters. · Efficient processing of applications and meeting turnaround time. · Carry out timely identification of undue risk elements and relate to relationship manager and seek corrective action or rejection of application. · Assist in preparation of high quality deliverable - credit assessments, presentations or reports. · Assist in developing predictive models for risk parameters · Preparation of “Facility Approval Letter” and letters to business · Moody’s Risk Analytics (MRA) usage: Assist other credit employees on issues relating to relating to internal rating process and analysis. Provide support to any enhancement, customization or development of MRA or any software application for financial spreading, modelling and portfolio reporting. · Work closely with Business and Risk Management teams to increase effectiveness and usage of MRA. · Provide effective Leadership: To provide effective leadership to ensure a better performance management and an effective workplace give the multicultural environment. · Special Projects/assignments: Work on technology and credit related initiatives as required/assigned. · Training and mentoring of Emirati staff. · Responsible for monitoring and guiding team members on any special assignments/projects handled by the team to ensure their timely execution/completion.
_ Directly reported to Head of Corporate Banking/Chief Risk Officer at Head Office.
Master of Arts (Public Administration) Specialisation in Financial Administration in IV Semester system.
