The company is a part of Fresh Del Monte Produce, one of the world’s leading producers, marketers and distributors of fresh fruit and vegetables.
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager and managing a team of 65 people.
Main responsibilities:
Managing all cold stores with efficiency, speed & cost effectiveness, oversee day-to-day logistics operations including recently launched e-com business and ensuring good warehouse practices are in place and followed.
Planning & scheduling daily inbound shipments, ensuring efficient space utilization and proper storage of goods. Monitoring daily order preparation & outbound deliveries and insuring on-time and accurate delivery of customer orders.
Resolving daily operational issues concerning customers and 3PL companies.
Working closely with sales team, communicating on slow moving items, providing periodic aging reports and attending their daily requirements.
Ensuring product safety & quality through enforcement of company policy and regulatory standards.
