Inventory Management
• Ensuring stocks for my portfolio are available
• Forecasting for products that are either newly launched, or soon-to-be launched.

Introduce innovations across the region
• This is one of my primary jobs at the organization. As a brand keeper, I am responsible for meeting innovation budgets in the region. This would include timely introduction in the marketplace, sales team training, and marketing collateral preparation and distribution.


Lead competition assessment & bench-marking exercise and recommend solutions/products
• Competition assessment and bench-marking is of utmost importance for our niche business segment. I lead this exercise along with the technical team with regard to the efficiency, reliability, performance, and price of the competitor product/s.


SKU Reduction; an activity that involves minimizing SKUs and maximising productivity
• SKU reduction in our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system in order to minimize complexity of products. This exercise enables our customer service team to effectively place customers orders without going through the direct sales rep for clarification.


Portfolio Harmonization
• Like an FMCG, we too have a number of Stock Keeping Units (SKU) in our portfolio. Harmonization of the portfolio involves clubbing products that serve the same purpose in order to reduce complexity. Moreover, this exercise is primarily done to increase our top-line.


Prepare Value Proposition for Kitchen Care & Infection Control portfolios


Support import projects
• Import project support for packaging.


Liaise with regional technical team for local manufacturing at 3P manufacturing sites.


Sales force and on-field application training
• New entrants training on our products and applications.

My role at the organization began as a Management Trainee wherein I was exposed to the functionality of different departments, i.e. Corporate Communications (Branding team), Customer Service, Sales, and Marketing.

As a Marketing executive, I was involved in the following:

• Lead the organization’s presence at various expos and trade events; includes logistics and manpower allocation.

• Manage the procurement (and development) of marketing collaterals, promotional and marketing goods.

• Support branding team in editorials & advertisements in various trade magazines.

• Lead for market & customer satisfaction surveys.
