Responsibilities handled as HVAC design engineer
Air-conditioning load is estimated for seasonal conditions using Software program HAP (Hourly Analysis Program 4.41) considering the Building orientation, Location, Materials used in construction, occupants load & lighting Load.
Air Terminal Selection \[Diffusers, Disc Valve, and Supply & Return Linear Bar Grill\] would be carried by using BETA Program according to the ASHRAE recommendations.
Air Conditioning & Ventilation Duct Designing would be carried out according to SMACNA recommendations using Equal Friction method on “McQuay Duct Sizing” program.
Chilled water pipe sizing would be done according to the ASHRAE norms using McQuay pipe sizing Program.
ESP \[External Static pressure\] calculation is carried out to determine the blower capacity of AHU‟s, FCU‟s, FAHU‟s & Exhaust Fan.
Hydraulic Calculations would be carried out to determine the Chilled water pump capacity.
Expansion tank sizing by using B2E calculators
Bill of Quantities(BOQ) and Estimation Costing
The HVAC shop drawing will be prepared using AutoCAD.
