Producing and coordinating the detailed architectural design and fit out of the BOH areas for the Expansion project of Hamad International Airport (HIA) in Doha using Microstation and Revit software:

MAIN TERMINAL BUILDING & PASSENGER TERMINAL COMPLEX EXPANSION OF HIA - Doha, Qatar
over 900, 000m² project area; coordination with client, sub-consultants and other disciplines (MEP, Fire Engineers, suppliers); Production of fire safety plans for the QCDD submission / in progress.
Employed for two years at the Design Unit of this international Project and Construction Management firm working on high specification projects within Doha and Lusail City of Qatar, using Revit, AutoCAD, V-ray, Photoshop, Illustrator and Sketch-Up. Here, I was responsible for the concept, schematic and detailed architectural design (DC1, DC2, Building Permit), dealing with high and low rise residential, office buildings, private housing and mixed-use developments. Other duties included the production of 3D Renderings and fire safety plans for the QCDD submissions, as well as attending design team meetings and liaising with clients, specialist engineers and authorities.

Abstract: The building fabric of the Gymnasium wing of the School Complex in Volos project - viz the graduation Thesis in Architectural Engineering presented in 2010 - was subject to a series of simulations using specific software (TEE-KENAK software), in the effort to investigate the role of the building envelope in the energy consumption of schools in Greece. AWARDS: - Pass with Distinction for achieving Excellent 10/10 in both Graduation Thesis (School Complex in Volos) and the Final Year Research Project (The Bioclimatic Knot). - Shortlisted int the National Competition of Graduation Theses (2010-2011) conducted by Greek Architects electronic magazine.
