Overseeing & managing the entire payroll process with a team of 3 for approx. 1600+ employees covering the Bilal Group of Companies thru WPS process.
• Responsible for the smooth functioning of our Payroll Management System running on our ERP-Fiscal page, by providing continuous inputs & support to our software solution provider, thus ensuring the most efficient use of the system.
• Acting as the interface liaison between Finance/Payroll and HR Departments.
• Review payroll data for accuracy, and organize the Payroll Team to coordinate with bankers to make arrangement of immediate opening up of bank accounts for new employees & timely start salary transfers for all employees.
• Supervising the employee leave records process in coordination with the Payroll Team & HRD.
• Verification of the Employee joining Records for data & supporting document accuracy.
• Overseeing the timely processing of final payments (salaries, trips, benefits etc.) of employees going on leave or leaving the Organization in coordination with the Payroll Team & HRD.
• Verification/approval of Annual settlement, F&Fs & Balance due payments on regular basis.
• Scrutinizing & verifying the monthly salaries & trips payment vouchers & expense booking entries and ensuring their accuracy & allocation of the right expense hears.
• Overseeing the timely booking of staff related Insurance voucher entries done by the Payroll Team.
• Generate various MIS reports to support, management analysis queries, general accounting and audit.
• Consistently acknowledge and appreciate team member contributions, thus motivating them to work together in the most efficient manner.
• Gather and analyze data, prepare reports and recommendations on certain special assignments/tasks given by the Chief Accountant/Financial Controller/Finance Director. In areas of payroll.
• Review and improve payroll policies and procedures.
