• Oversaw the required CHP and AHP and Co Gen Plant Expansion area related installations including follow-up with consultant at Balasore plant.
• Stellar role in overseeing that all plant and facility were ordered & important equipment being 15 Mw (2 x 7.5 Mw T G set), 90 T Cap AFBC Thermax Boilers (3x30 T), Compressors, Chillers, etc.
• Managed other equipment like pumps, IBR and non IBR piping & layout at its best was planned to achieve best consumption norms in the tire industry.
• Conducted follow up of steam resulting in: o Per ton of production came down from 5.12 T/T To 3.98 T/T.
o Power Per Ton Of Production From 1485KwH To1385KwH
o Capacity Up gradation of Boilers 1& 2 from 25TPH to 30 TPH
o 2nd D.M. Plant Installation and CPU's Follow Up Works.
o Service Failures 0 & Breakdowns Relatively low.
• Successfully represented department in IRQS & DNV Audits resulting in the organisation to be 1st in the tyre industry to be awarded TPM.
