Role:
Formulating and executing business strategy in consultation with MD and defining strategy & business metrics for product line as well as executing to achieve KPI
Ensuring to meet customer satisfaction ECSL by managing key Supply chain functions Demand Plan, procurement, Production, supply planning, warehouse management.
Preparing safety plan, risk assessments, emergency evacuation plans, and submitting to client and consultant and getting approval
Executing FMEA and Control plans; benchmark practices and quality norms e.g. Lean Enterprise and Six Sigma, Increase the value of the enterprise by identifying and eliminating waste to enhance productivity
Setting business direction, formulating short & long-term business plans and ensuring top-line & bottom-line profitability of the plant
Leading culture transition through training, awareness of global standards and outlining change process Facilitating 100% on-time qualitative delivery through strategic production planning; administering entire gamut of factory issues, including planning, budgeting, controlling & troubleshooting on quality issues
Planning & prioritizing daily workload to achieve productivity goals
Improving plant profitability and monitoring performance of the plant & Supply Chain functions including process engineering, low-cost automation initiatives and better supplier negotiations.
Driving process improvement initiatives; implementing value analysis and value engineering initiatives for standardization and reduce costs
Coordinating with various functions; ensuring optimum utilization of the warehouse resources
Managing overall operations related to production planning including coordinating in marketing, manpower management, supplies and uptime of equipment
Playing a major role in managing:
o New Product Development and enhancing capacity & utilization along with plant modifications & capacity expansion
o Increasing the productivity through modifications, effective utilizations of resources, maintenance, thus minimizing the breakdowns as well
o Imparting /organizing training programs for achieving pre-planned business targets
Creating and sustaining a dynamic environment that fosters the development opportunities and motivates the high performance amongst the team members
Ensuring employee safety; facility profitability; cost reduction programs; productivity; product quality; customer satisfactions, employee relations; individual’s growth and development; and local/regional community relationships, attract, develop and retain top talent.
