Designation: Control Room Operator
Duration: 2011 to till date.
Plant Configuration: 120MW x 4 GE Frame 9E Gas Turbines, 10MW x 2 wartsila diesel generator,
220kv & 132kv ABB GIS.
I am working in the above plant with the following responsibilities.
• Responsible for start-up and shutdown of Gas Turbine from local HMI of Mark-VI and as well as from DCS also with the instructions from shift charge engineer.
• Coordinating with LDC starting & shut down of the unit accordingly and Dispatch power to LDC through our 220kv&132kv switchyards without uninterrupted.
• Monitoring system parameters & taking down the readings of the plant equipment and notifying the observations to Shift engineer.
• Making isolations and de-isolations as per the instructions of Shift engineer. Locking out and tagging out on isolated equipment as per PTW requirement.
• Supervising operational daily routine activities of utilities like compressed air system start up & shut down of EDG set trial run, drives change over, shift readings etc.
• Doing off-line water washing for Gas turbines annually.
• Gas receiving station-cyclone separators, filters, condensate disposal system & Liquid fuel- unloading diesel fuel to storage tanks and facilities.
• Monitoring &reporting of equipments after major overhaul maintenance to ensure smooth
operation of plant with in the specified operational parameters.

1. Employer: Brother Engineering and Erectors limited, Vijayawada, India.
Designation: Supervisor in power plant units
Duration: 2009 to 2011
• Maintenance of Turbo generator (118MW) &simulation of alarms.
• Maintenance of generating transformer& Unit auxiliary transformer and its associated
auxiliaries & protective system.
• H.T motor (6.6 KV) & L.T motor (415 V) of maintenance & Overhauling.
• Maintenance & operation of SF6 (220 KV) & (132KV) switchyard (Indoor)
• Battery Bank & Chargers maintenance of (132V, 770 to 250AH)
• Preparing annual maintenance of the schedules in coordination with maintenance
department & contract company
• Ensuring works as per permit system, line clears safety standard procedures.
• Maintaining history cards &stock list up to date documentations of electrical
equipments with computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
2. Employer: Jeltron systems India pvt Ltd (Toshiba), Hyderabad, India.
Designation: Service Engineer
Duration: 2005 to 2006
• My work responsible includes installation, maintenance of lift control panels, Auto
Receive Devices (ARD)
• Identifying areas of bottle neck /break down and" Troubleshooting of the control
circuits and periodic inspection at customer sites".
• Carrying out Testing, planning, preventive& production maintenance of panels to increase reliability &panel's availability.
• set desired parameters for the drives installed for different lift controllers, ARD, Soft
starters &for general vfd applications.
• Testing of panels including electrical components involved like contactors, MCB, selector
switches, invertors, convertors, charges, Relay boards transformers etc.
• Plan, organize &prioritize the final inspection and Assisted in the certification approved for final dispatch of the lift controller &ARD panels.
4 years 9 months in power plant.
