Job Profile: (As a Lead Electrical Commissioning Engineer)
 Work involves both office and site assignments
At Office:
o Ensure that engineering is developed considering commissioning requirements.
o Responsible to reflect all commissioning philosophy to engineering by reviewing SLDs, Manuals, Schedules, Technical Data sheets, Protection Philosophies, Operational philosophies, Design basis report, Specifications & Procedures.
o Review vendor packages (drawings, Pre-commissioning & Commissioning and O&M manuals, FAT procedure, SAT procedure, etc.) for ease of commissioning and operation.
o Interface with other disciplines to ensure integration of activities.
o Review of system/sub-system list and preparation of pre-commissioning/commissioning dossiers based on list.
o Preparation of system/sub-systems marked-up drawings.
o Preparation of Pre-commissioning/Commissioning schedules.
o Development of Method statements, Pre-commissioning, Commissioning&Start-up, Operation and Maintenance procedures for Electrical Systems.
o Development of Maintenance procedures in line with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) job plans for GTGs, EDGs, HV/LV Motors, HV/LV VFDs, HV/LV Switchboards, Transformers, Distribution boards, Control panels, Control Systems - IPCMS/SCMS/EPDMS and Lighting system of ZADCO (South Island, North Island, West Island & Central Island).
At site:
o Lead a team of Engineers/Technicians to undertake Pre-commissioning, Commissioning and Maintenance activities.
o Responsible for preparing a comprehensive phased commissioning strategy, planning necessary to cover all aspects of commissioning including the staffing for the work.
o Responsible for coordinating with construction team and the project control team to ensure that the project schedule reflects the required sequence of the system and sub-system completion to meet all the objectives in commissioning, start-up and operation of the plant.
o Responsible for Commissioning safety, quality and schedule.
o Responsible for site wide commissioning, coordination and interface with the client Commissioning / Operation team.
o Familiar with Site HSSE requirement like PTW (Permit Issuer and Holder), LOTO, Tool Box Talk and Job Safety Analysis.
o Undergone Site training for Fire fighting and performed the duties as fire warden

MANAGER March 2007 - Feb 2012

➢ Worked in 2 X 600 MW Coal based Thermal Power project.
➢ Responsibility includes Field engineering, Testing and Commissioning of Electrical equipments and auxiliaries associated with 2 X 600 MW Coal based Thermal Power plant like 11 KV HT Switchgears (ABB) with FBT system, 3.3KV HT Switchgears (ABB), 11KV / 3.3KV HT Motors (ABB / Marathon / Shanghai Electric.), LOP Control Panels / Motors (Shanghai), 12.5MVA (11KV/3.3KV) Transformers (Indra vidyut), 2.5MVA (11KV / 0.433KV) Transformers (Voltamp), Busducts (C&S)
➢ Configuration, Setting and Testing of ABB Make HT Numerical Relays like REF 541, RET 541, REM 610, REU 610 and Alstom make LT Relays like P345, P342, P127, P211 & P111 using dobel test kit.
➢ Testing and Commissioning of ESP and its auxiliaries (Zhe jian jiahuan Technologies)
➢ DCS and PLC interfacing of HT and LT switchgears.
➢ REF and Differential Stability testing of Transformers & Differential stability of HT Motors.
➢ Involved in GRP, AVR, Generator Fault recorder and 600 MW Generator Testing and commissioning activities.
➢ Involved in OCC & SCC test of 600 MW Generator.

➢ Testing, maintenance and troubleshooting of Electrical equipments and auxiliaries associated with the main plant of 2 X 250 MW Coal based Thermal Power plant like 6.6 KV HT Switchgears (ABB) & 415V PMCC / MCC Panels (L&T), 294 MVA Generator and its Brushless excitation System (B.H.E.L), Bus Transfer System (BTS), 750KVA DG Systems, 6.6 KV HT / 415V LT Motors.
➢ Commissioning of MV (6.6 KV) VFDs for 1350 KW PA Fan motors and 650 KW CEP Motors.
➢ Commissioning of LV VFDs for Seal air Fan motors.
