Lead & Manage both Project Controls, Document Controls & Program Reporting Team Members (team size: 8-14)
Review & Approval of Master Baseline Schedule
Review & Approval of Project Schedule Controls Plan, Document Controls Plan, Configuration Plan, CDRL.
Maximizes project efficiency by analyzing, evaluating, and forecasting current statuses against established performance measurement baseline schedule; identifying trends, look-aheads, physical & earned value progress reports and reporting variances in the plan/trends. Assess the impact of design or construction changes and schedule slippages.
Capture critical controls and project issues at progress review meetings with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders; documents progress reports; and provides follow-up reports to the PMC team.
Manages the preparation of PMC weekly and monthly progress reports/presentations, dashboard reports, design submittals status reports, cost reports, budgets, and cash flow reports to keep strategic project managers and clients informed.
As PMC document controls lead, implements and manages the electronic document controls system (EDMS - Aconex).
Manage a group of document controllers to resolve any issues between PMC professionals, PMC document controls, and contractor’s document controls to timely turn around comments and recommendations.
Manages the PMC and contractor’s design teams’ reconciliation of the reviewed, recommended submittals and closeout.
Acting project controls manager for integrated contracts and controls functions.
Ensures procedures compliance and adherence by assisting contracts manager in day-to-day functions and reviewing contractor’s submittals and releasing PMC’s recommendations on the contractor’s submittals. Coordinates between project controls and contracts/commercial departments
Assists commercial team in evaluation of payments and variation requests.
Prepares PMC invoices, Parsons corporate reporting for WBS percent completes by project status tool, accruals, AR aging reports, revenue recognition and gross profits, and monthly project controls statements
Participates, prepares, reviews, and periodically updates the PMC project management plan (PMP) and project procedures manual (PPM). Leads key discussions on PMC plans, procedures, and protocols.

Collate data for periodic review of project progress and prepare Weekly/Monthly reports, Histograms, Extension Of Time (EOT). Provided inputs and recommendations for cost engineering requirements; reviewed cost engineering provisions of proposals; prepared cost presentations and timely cost estimates; coordinated pricing structure/criteria; supervised cost recording, monitoring and reporting practices for compliance with applicable standards; helped develop unit man-hour and pricing data; performed data analysis; identified problems and recommended solutions. Coordinated with stakeholders to prepare Level 4 design schedules and action plans for projects such as Dubai Metro Green Line Extension, Saudi Arabia Ministry of Housing, Abu Dhabi Capital District, Abu Dhabi North Island, and Dubai Palm Deira Rail Lines.
Achievements / Credits: As a fast learner, in 2 months became well versed on the Parson’s project management systems & softwares. Took over from the Project Controls Engineer with 5year Parsons experience, remapped the existing WBS, implemented the Project Control Tool application for the first time in Parsons Middle East Projects and received acclamation from the Parsons Senior Management. Timely submission of Web based Monthly Corporate Project Control Statements with Earned Value Analysis. Actively involved with the Middle East Project Controls Vice President for Design Consultancy Services Proposals.
