Responsible for the design and estimation of commercial and modular building construction as well as
standalone onshore and offshore camp facilities and industrial oilfield buildings, complying with all cost, safety
and scope specifications.
* Receive projects from tendering team and provide accurate estimations, advising on costs for MEP,
HVAC and plumbing design. Study all drawings, quotes and quantity surveying to prepare estimation
for tender price.
* Source and identify suppliers that meet technical specifications, working cross-functionally with
purchasing department to ensure cost-effective and accurate pricing. Prepare bill of quantity and
place material requisition for LPOs.
* Attend production meetings to address and resolve issues, ensuring all modular builds are kept on
track for on-time completion.
* Meet with managers daily, providing up to date and accurate information, acting quickly to
troubleshoot any problem areas.
* Present and participate in weekly consultant meetings, acting as an expert on technical matters
pertaining to the project.
* Co-ordinate between sub-contractors, architects and structural team, ensuring that all parties are
aligned and practical needs are addressed.
* Guide the construction teams to uphold standards of quality and safety, ensuring correct methods
and procedures are used.
* Liaise closely with DEWA, explaining projects and demonstrating need for new pipelines and
infrastructure. Obtain NOCs for projects.
* Evaluate effects of project changes, including impact upon deliverables, schedule and budget. Aid
sales and marketing team in reaching contractual agreements.
* Arrange material take-offs of plumbing and fabrication for water treatment plants, sewage treatment
plants and RO plants as well as preparing material take-off on mechanical drawings and plans.
