Im currently still employed at ITC Mahayil Asir and will leave the company at the end of this academic year of June 2018.
I teach Saudi male students, English, in their diploma course to obtain their PET certificate.
My duties include :
Teaching English
Assessments of students ( formative and summative)
Exam writing
Assessing homework
Assist students in the Language Labs
Curriculum development
As Head of Department:
Organisation of department
Planning of events for the month
Observing teachers
Liaise with other departments
Leading meetings
Organising the PET exams
Meeting low attendance students and assisting them to find solutions to their issues
Reporting to the Dean
• Delivering coursework to students
• Ensure grades are completed on time
• Effective usage of teaching aids in the classroom, eg: smart- boards
• Effective meetings with co- teachers to align course work
• Ensure students progressed at healthy pace
• Ensure the school maintained its high standard

I will complete my degree in June of 2018, while I currently hold a diploma for Adult Education from the University of the Western Cape. My degree specializations are Linguistics and Sociology. Linguistics is based on speech and how people acquire language. How language change, societies impact and the transformation of languages as well as translation. Sociology is based on the impact any sociology changes have on society, family and the individual. Ranging from theories on social change to the impact these changes have on people.

A study of how adults learn within the workplace, formal, informal and non formal learning and how to apply these learning techniques to make sure learning takes place.
