- Reporting to the VP Finance.
- Ensure adequacy of financial controls, timely financial reporting, accurate monthly management reports.
- Provide financial analysis and prepare the annual budget and monthly forecasts.
- Analyse and report on budgeted project P&L and Cash Flow.
- To ensure accounting records are maintained professionally to facilitate internal and external audits.
- Serve as the financial management liaison; effectively communicate and present financial matters at select meetings.
- Reporting to the Inventory Cycle Manager.
- Supporting the Inventory team on daily activities during SAP MM-IM implementation period.
- Responsible for correctness and completeness of all inventory accounts for the integrated stores.
- Contact for internal and external audit (avoid SOX/audit deficiencies)
- Setting-up detailed procedures for all tasks/activities performed within the inventory team.
- Evaluate existing workflows and look for improvements in terms of efficiency.
- Prepare internal reports upon request of the management. Create visibility in work done by the team.
- Reporting to Head of Technical Center of Expertise. Supporting all Technical Operations projects.
- Implementing a portfolio project management methodology to ensure a strong decision process and to coordinate project evaluation, prioritization and review through the different departments within Technical Operations (Internal/External Manufacturing, Device, Biotech and Pharma science)
- Consolidating investment projects (10 years plan). Supporting the Capex Budget exercise.
- Setting up the tools to ensure an accurate follow-up of investment projects.
- Preparing and leading periodic Capex review management meetings to give an accurate status of the strategic projects (commitment, cash-out, forecasts, …)
- Sparring partner for Head of Business Analysis & Projects & CFO.
- Acts as a Project Manager for the elaboration of business cases and strategic plans. Coordinates the work with other teams/departments (Marketing, IT, Legal, …)
- Challenges the input, the assumptions and the results of the business case.
- Takes part in corporate development and exceptional projects (special analysis, sensitive projects, war gaming exercise, auction process, partnerships …) with major impact on company’s P&L.
- Works as a strategic advisor for Senior Management and ExCo members.
- Reporting to the Director Financial Reporting and Controlling EMEA.
- Ensure FP&A activities during a restructuring period and a HQ relocation (=>Netherlands/Bulgaria)
- Coordination of multi-sites’ month-end closing, Forecasts, Budget and Strategic Planning.
- Monitor Operating margin & Working capital (1.6B USD) analysis (>20 countries & 4 Line of Business)
- Enforce reporting process during the new reporting and consolidation tool’s implementation (Hyperion)
- Provide financial modelling and reporting to facilitate executive-level decision making.
- Reporting to Finance Director. Supporting Finance Business Partners.
- Financial Analyses on Support Functions (€180 Mio) & Marketing activities (€50 Mio)
- Monitor financial activities: management reports, month-end closing, variances analyses.
- Perform the Financial Plan Process. Analyse and challenge resources allocations and cross-charges.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis. Support in implementation of new IT reporting tools.
- Enforce proper internal control systems and procedures in line with GSK and Sarbanes Oxley policies.
- Reporting to the Work Package Controller Manager and to the Site Controller.
- Ensure financial performance on complex project portfolio, together with the Work Packages, selling/transfer price. Manage the Budget/Forecasting of international engineering projects (€145 Mio)
- Business and financial advisor for Project Manages and Work Packages Managers. Involve on decisions impacting the project’s margin. Link between Finance and Production & Project management.
- High level review financial strength of DB’s to evaluate risk/sales balance. Monitor availability, validity and enforceability of credit securities vs outstanding sales. Set up tailor made risk coverage solutions.
- Monitor compliance of European sales to DB’s within credit risk procedures & policy and vs credit insurance policy, letter of credit and guarantee requirement. Ascertain compliance to SOX controls.
- Coordinate and support European Treasury Manager on feasibility/working-out and implementation of European SCF solutions to European distributors and dealers. Co-ordinate implementation of IT tools.
- Monitor available stock levels. Setting-up procedures, define required processes and reporting. Identify incentives to distributors and dealers. Review financial performance (largely credit) of distributors/dealers.
- Organizing and insuring the planning process: budgetary/forecast follow-up of the Logistics costs.
- Product and process cost analyses. Monthly follow-up (real versus budget/forecast). Budget €95 Mio.
- Ensure efficient stock control. Sizing and managing the inventory (43 sites). Budget €210 Mio.
- P&L analyse per customer and product (variance analyses)
- Manage the main cost streams (Cost of Services, Network and Overheads) & accruals.
- Analysing expenses from the commercial activity. Expenses internal control/auditory. Budget Reports.
- Follow-up and analysis of the evolution of the margin on contracts (assist to perform the group margins)
