I am a pediatric nephrologist, Currently I am working in the city of Valencia, Venezuela with a population of about 2.5 million. In pediatric nephrology service of these medical centers are treated in hospitalization approximately 500 patients per year for outpatient ambulatory patients about 6000 and about 350 patients are treated in other hospitalization services (Intensive Care Unit, neonatology, neurology, emergency, cardiology, pediatric surgery, urology, toxicology, etc.).
- In service serving patients with acute renal failure, chronic renal disease and procedures of peritoneal dialysis, hemodialysis and kidney transplants are performed cadaveric and living related donor are performed.
In services of nephrology where I worked I performed outpatient, valuation of hospitalized patients in different services, renal biopsy percutaneous, placement catateres of peritoneal dialysis, peritoneal dialysis, hemodialysis, pre valuation and post renal transplantation, procurement of organs and tissues.
1) External consultation, expert in renal tubular acidosis, stones, peritoneal dialysis, procurement of organs and tissues.
2) Lecturer on issues related to tubulopathies, procurement of organs and tissues.
3) Research into stones, tubulopathies and heavy metal poisoning
