Working as a Project Document Controller for various expansion projects in Farabi
Petrochemicals Company since 2006.
Responsibilities:
• Overseeing and performing the full range of activities associated with
document management work on project.
• Responsible for establishing and maintaining an efficient document control
system, ensuring all documentation is accurate, up to date and distributed
to relevant parties in accordance with the Document Distribution Matrix.
• On receipt of the document from the Feed contractor,
o Carried out the quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy of
information (verify revision number, document number, etc.)
o Purpose of the transmission (Issued for Review, Issued for Approval,
Issued for Information, Issued for Construction, etc.)
o Update the log sheet and distribute the document to project team as
per distribution matrix (DM) for their review/comment.
• Reviewed document and comment response sheet (CRS) received from the
project team will be recorded and issued to contractor through EDMS for
their further action / compliance.
• Overall control of all incoming / outgoing project documents.
Manage, Coordinate, and Expedite documents between PMT and the Contractor.
• Prepare the Internal Transmittals and External Transmittals.
• Maintain the latest revision of documents in records.
• Expedite and track status of all documents reviewed internally by Projects team
• Tracking and Distribution of Incoming mails in accordance with the document distribution schedule.
• Filing of documents into physical and digital records as per discipline wise.
• Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly reports which reflects the progress of the Project documents.
• Effectively involve in teamwork. Support discipline leads, Project engineers, Contractors to ensure KPI’s are met.
• Assist the Project Manager in various activities to meet the project needs.
• Maintain and keep track on Change Orders and TQ’s
• Controls the master record and updating the records
