• Measure Wet Film Thickness (WFT) during application and Dry Film Thickness (DFT) after curing
using Elcometer or equivalent, ensuring results within tolerance.
• Conduct and witness adhesion (cross-hatch) tests, holiday/pinhole tests for linings, and visual
inspection for runs, sags, cracks, or poor finish.
• Verify coating color, gloss, and surface finish match client specification and approved standards.
• Monitor weather conditions throughout coating activity to ensure compliance with the approved
climatic range.
• Review and endorse batch certificates, paint mixing records, DFT logs, environmental condition
reports, and calibration certificates.
