Working in a prestigious project "Doha Metro" - Red line South ( Client - Qatar Railways company).
The day to today activities include -
Monitoring the design development and the team.
Managerial activities like chairing the meetings, liaising with the client, taking decisions in day today design management activities, resolving design related issues to the coordination of work in the site etc.
Working as a client managing various design organisations involved in the design activities of the project.
Last but not the least also involved in various project management activities like time management, schedule management, scope management, cost management etc.
Working as a Design manager.
Nature of job includes interfacing with client, design developments, evolving concept design, project scheduling, site visits, design reviews and managing a team of architects and engineers.
Invoved in design developments, underwent training in NFPA and IBC codes, interfacing with clients and worked as a team leader(senior architect) in various projects.Handled large scale projects with lots of varied scope in it.
o Preparation of shop drawings, detailed drawings, conceptual sketches and working drawings for which approval from sharjah Municipality will be proclaimed.
o Quantity Surveying.
o Preparation of detailed and abstract estimates.
o Guiding the contractors as per the rules and regulations.
o Making of revised as built drawings.
o Municipality inspection paper preparation and clearance.
o All Municipality dealings regarding construction activities.
o Coordination with consultants, contractors and clients.
During my career I have acquired extensive international expatriate experience by working in senior architectural capacity in UAE, Qatar, Morocco,Kuwait and India. And worked on a wide range of prominent and large scale projects. In my current position in KEO i received the best architect award for the year 2011.
