Project Description:-
Catering to Insurance domain. It is incorporated with the countrys statutory requirements and takes care of end-to-end flow of business documents within your organization. The distorting of existing functioning and business plan is eliminated because the system fits comfortably with the day-to-day business needs.
Responsibilities
• Upgrade of PREMIA 9 to PREMIA 11.
• Requirement study, Interaction with end users, Business process mapping, Gap analysis, development, customizations, testing, documentation and user training.
• Involved in Forms and Report development
• Involved in PL/SQL (Triggers, Stored Procedures, Functions, Cursor, Packages, Tables, Views, Indexes, Synonyms, Exception, Collection)
• Involved in creating program specification
• Involved in code review and Test case review
a. Functions / Operations
All the operations like underwriting, claims, treaty allocation, master data set up and maintenance, accounting etc. under the following types of insurance were handled in PREMIA.
• Motor Insurance
• Life and Medical
• Fire and General Accidents
• Marine Insurance
• Reinsurance
b. Upgrade of PREMIA 9 to PREMIA 11
The existing screens, menus and reports in the PREMIA General Insurance module were converted from Developer 6i to Developer Suite 11g. The database was also migrated from Oracle 9i to Oracle 11g.
c. Implementation of PREMIA Life and PREMIA Health
The manual driven operations in Life and Medical departments were automated by implementing PREMIA. The application was configured according to the business process. The existing master data and transaction data were migrated using SQL scripts. Reports were developed as per user requirement.

Responsibilities
• Analyze the requirement and design oracle customized forms as per the functional specification.
• Responsible for performance tuning of SQL and PL/SQL packages such that data conversion performed within the stipulated time.
• Designed and developed oracle customized forms & reports generated.
• Responsible for creation of logical and physical data modeling of the application.
• Oracle reports are coded as per the business requirement
