MAJOR PROJECT: FINGERPRINT RECOGNITION SYSTEM Fabricated a Fingerprint authentication system capable of discerning authorized users within acceptable error rates. The design was completed in two stages: • Stage 1: The various stages of fingerprint authentication system were implemented using MATLAB and tested using available fingerprint database. • Stage 2: Implementation of a system (hardware) capable of accepting user fingerprints and authentication within reasonable time and error constraints MINOR PROJECT: ELECTRONIC DRUM KIT Successfully fabricated an Electronic Drum Kit using Atmega 32 microcontroller. The drum kit had 3 different pads, thereby producing 3 different sounds. • In addition to coding of the microcontroller in MATLAB, the other practical work involved designing a low pass filter and amplifiers. A speaker was externally provided. SEMINAR: FACIAL RECOGNITION USING PROJECTION-COMBINED PRINCIPAL COMPONENT ANALYSIS Successfully conducted a seminar on the recent technique of Facial Recognition using Projection- Combined Principal Component Analysis. Leadership and Execution: • Senior executive of Hospitality & Registration committee in All India Technical Fest Tathva 08, the annual technical fest of NITC. • Senior Executive of Informals in the All India Cultural Fest. Ragam 08, the annual cultural fest of NITC. • Head of the Informal Events Committee, “Ragam 2010” and Member of Organizing Committee of Informals in the All India Technical Fest Tathva 09 • Member of Literary and Debating Club at NITC. Achievements: • Adjudged BEST SPEAKER of the session of LITERARY FORUM held at The India Social Centre, Abu Dhabi • Secured Grade B2 in the Intermediate Category of the GULF MATHEMATICS OLYMPIAD 2003 Sports and Others: • Secured Third Position in the AND-3 Basketball Tournament 2010 held at NITC. Social Responsibility: • Participant, ‘Sir Bani Yas Island Field Trip’ organized by Environmental Research and Wildlife Development Agency, U.A.E
