Based of past performance and consequent to unit restructuring, given the leadership role to supervise the unit and train staff for handling month end closing within given timeline in efficient n effective manner, I am involved in looking after various matters relating to fixed assets including capitalization, depreciation & disposals in Fixed Assets Module of Oracle Financials. In addition to this, I am actively involved in monitoring customization of multiple reports of Oracle in coordination with the ERP functional support team together with reviewing, reassessing & and recommending any possible improvement in business processes involving fixed assets. I am also part of team responding various stakeholders including statutory/ control/internal auditors, budgeting & planning and GL reporting.

Heading Fixed Assets Section of Finance Department with responsibilities including catering Fixed Assets Module of Oracle Financials and verifying monthly entries relating thereto like additions, disposals & depreciation, supervision of work performed by staff, planning and conducting physical verification of assets, reconciliation of results thereof with books and thereafter suggesting adjustments/rectifications, monthly closing of accounts and preparation of various schedules and reconciliations as per targeted dates, coordinating with IT section to broaden the area of reporting & preparation of MIS for higher management & Reporting team.
Worked in General Ledger n Reporting section of Accounts Department with major responsibilities of closing entries with respect to General Ledger, supervision of work performed by staff of Accounts Receivable Module, reconciliation of results thereof with General Ledger, monthly finalization of accounts with respect to said modules of ERP based solution “Oracle Financials 11i” implemented by the organization side by side making recommendations to improve and polish the reports of Receivable Module so as to further enhance their understandability and utility for users of financial information and Heads of department and organization.
Successfully designed and maintained accounting system together with Management Information system (MIS) of the organization in Peach Tree accounting software. Major responsibilities included providing and discussing financial reports with the Heads of the organization, supervision of manual books of accounts & store ledgers, matters related to tax & banks and overall guidance to & coordination of sub ordinates and over forty individuals of sales.
During four years compulsory article ship under Bye-Laws of Chartered Accountants Ordinance, 1961 with Waseem Siddiqi & Co. Chartered Accountants, Islamabad worked in all financial areas including accounts, audit, tax and corporate affairs with sufficient exposure to all and special honorarium of being considered the backbone of tax & corporate affairs.
Completed Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with major in Finance from PIMSAT, Lahore.
Passed Bachelors of Commerce Examination (B. Com) from Punjab University of Pakistan
Passed Foundation Examination of ICAP previously known as CA Intermediate
