Kick started the KOC South East Kuwait E&T Project for the UXO Geophysical survey, Battle Area Clearance, Characterization and E&T of Heavily Contaminated soil to Landfill of a US$ 14.5 million Project.
Headed and completed the KOC North Kuwait E&T Project for the UXO Geophysical survey and Clearance and E&T of Heavily Contaminated soil to Landfill of a US$ 26 million Project.
Providing technical support to UXO Subcontractor to ensure the smooth-running operations for completion of UXO related works.
Coordinated with UXO subcontractor’s management on all UXO related works.
Lead the UXO phase, the Environmental phase and the Construction phase of the project with the UXO Specialists, the Environmental team and our Construction team inline the Client/Client’s project management program/plan.
Closely monitored the Project Quality Audits along with our Quality Engineer to ensure strict compliance to the requirements of KOC/Contract Specifications.
Coordinated with the HSE Manager on HSE Audits to ensure compliance to the requirements of HSEMS/KOC HSE Specifications.
Coordinated with the Project Site Management on closing out the open items Punch List as per Project Specifications.
Coordinated with the Project Management team (PMC) to successfully hand over of the Landfill to the satisfaction of the Client.
Weekly and Monthly progress meetings with UXO subcontractor, PMC team and Client.
Handover of As-Built Documentation and Project Record books as per Contract/Project Requirements.
Started my own construction business immediately upon graduation. Although quite successful, I felt that constructing independent houses and small apartment buildings was not meant for me. I wanted to undertake/be part of more challenging mega projects. I shifted to Kuwait in 2003 and have been part of quite a few mega projects with Siemens and Alghanim International.
