• Negotiate with other suppliers to determine prices, yearly procurement of USD 700M
• Select supplier based on agreed guidelines (qualification status, Long Term Agreement status, commodity strategy, 8-12 weeks lead-time, supplier performance etc.).
• Take full ownership of all Vendor Performance KPIs and devise a functional roadmap to achieve quarterly goals and targets
• Continuously monitor own procurement plan (approx. 450 FEU/weekly), update purchase orders, follow up on execution, quality requirements, survey status.
• Support and ensure compliance with transportation and customs requirements
• Drive and claim accurate demand and supply signals to ensure reliable, realistic and economic material replenishment and release to end user
• Coordinate Shipping & Customs Officers assigned to the Project, run procurement and transport activities in an efficient and cost effective manner
• Diverse Cargo Handling: Proficiently managed a spectrum of cargo complexities including RoRo, Breakbulk,
Heavy Lift, Non-Standardized, and Containerized cargo, employing advanced techniques in multimodal
shipping and transportation logistics. Directed the optimization and seamless coordination of the
complete order cycle, leveraging direct routes and efficient logistical strategies
• Spearheaded strategic cross-trade pricing initiatives, aligning EPC project budget requirements with
precise objectives for enhanced cost efficiency and profitability in logistics operations
• Conducting comprehensive market analysis and supplier evaluations to ensure superior product quality
and timely contract deliveries
• Robust Warehousing Management: Orchestrated comprehensive warehousing strategies, integrating
seamless liaison and negotiation with customer departments and manufacturers
• Skillfully selected and monitored logistics service providers, evaluating their performance against stringent
criteria to ensure optimal service and cost-effectiveness.
• Communication and coordination with global vendors, agents, and freight forwaders, fostering robust
