In the absence of Security Managers, is responsible for the management of all Incidents including, but not limited to: Emergencies, crises and evacuations
Coordinates administrative and operational functions to support core values
Enforces discipline and standards
Responsible for ensuring performance of security department
Manage security guard force and ensure standards in accordance with Atlantis policies and contractual requirements
To provide command for critical incidents in the hotel and form part of the emergency management plan
To provide leadership and direction to Security Guards and Surveillance Personnel in the absence of Managers and Directors.
Understands that different customer needs, internal customers, superiors, peers, subordinates and external customers
Feels a sense of obligation to others to deliver on the promise and performs well
Responds to customers’ requests promptly and manages their expectations
Ensures that all colleagues’ activities adhere to and support the Jumeirah International Quality Management System
Assists the Security Manager in directing, supervising and participating in the activities of all security personnel engaged in the implementation of the Wild Wadi Water Park fire, life, safety and security procedures
Assists in developing safe and secure measures to safeguard: a) VIPs and other guests, b) Water Park property and employees, c) Banqueting functions, d) Vehicles in parking areas
To be familiar with all procedures related to fire prevention and evacuation and to ensure prompt decision making with regards to the safety and security of guests and employees
To ensure continual “on the job training” is carried out with all Security Officers and Security Officers assigned to their team
To conduct regular training sessions for the Security Officers in the Water Park and to ensure the relevant documentation is completed
Administration duties e.g. time check, assignment and duty roster, daily incident reports, requisitions and other inter office memos.
