Position: ELECTRICAL ENGINEER-Electrical, Fire Alarm & ELV Systems. Responsibilities
• Review of Shop Drawings, Construction drawings, As-built drawings & Design drawings.
• Review of Material Submittals, Prequalification submittals, Third party Inspector CVs and Documents
• Review of Method Statement, Inspection and Test Plan, O & M Manual, Spare parts and Handing Over documents.
• Review of FAT & SAT procedures, RFIs, FAT & SAT reports and Testing & Commissioning documents, And Witnessing the FAT and SAT.
• Supervising the Installation of LV, 11kV, Cable works including testing and commissioning.
• Supervision of Installation, Testing & commissioning of Building lightings, Switches Including Dimmers, Lighting Control Panel.
• Witnessing the Testing & Commissioning activity of 11/0.415kV Substations, Package Substations. Which includes, 11kV Switchgears, Transformers, LV Panel, Bus duct, Bus raiser, Cable tray works, MCC Panel, cabinet, MDB, SMDB, DB'S, RTU, LCP, Generator, UPS, CBS, Control Panels, CCTV, Fire Alarm panels, Boom Barriers, Gas detection system, Earthing & lightning protection and etc.
• Supervision of Installation, Testing and Commissioning of CCTV, Earthing and Lightning protection.
• Supervision of Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Lighting control systems, Access control systems, PA, BMS, BACS and Electrical equipment's (Generators, Lift Motors, LV panels, DB's, Bus bars, Cable tray … Etc.)
• Witnessing the system interfacing with BMS and BACS.
• Supervision of Installation, testing & Commission of Fire alarm, Firefighting, Gas detection system.
• Supervision of Installation, Testing and commissioning of small power, Public Address system, Wi-Fi Networks and Telephone.
• Preparation of Covering letters, Comment Report sheets, Interaction reports and Transmittals.
• Verification of Voltage drop calculations, Electrical Load Schedule, Current Carrying capacity calculations etc.
• Preparation of HSE Report, Weekly report, Daily report, Surveillance Report and NCRs.
• Review and preparation of Project planner, Schedule, Progress report, Minutes of Meeting,
• Damage reports, site progress reports, Project presentations and progress status report.
• Aware of Kahramaa, QCS 2010/2014, QP and MOI regulation and Project Specifications.
• Proper Co-ordination with contractor, Sub Contractors, Project Management, End users and Client, Testing & commissioning and handing over team.
• Having experience in Handing over procedures (As-Built, Spare parts, Snag list closures etc.), Variation order, Site Instructions, change request and Final Bill.
• Assisted with Junior & Senior Engineers to follow the site activities on regular basis.
• Raised Request for Information (RFI's) to the Designer Consultant to get clarification on the missing details and standards in the contract drawings and specifications.
• Attending work progress meeting, kick off Meeting, HSE meeting, Internal Meeting, Technical meetings, Preparing MOM.
• Coordinating with designer for design issues and material department for material procurement, Analyzing the BOQ, finance management
• Authority coordination -1) Kahramaa - Transmission & Distribution Departments; 2) QCDD - Preventive Department. 3) MOI - Security System Department. 4) QP - Fire & Electrical Department.
Major Projects Handled:
• Contractors Camp (6000 Beds) and service buildings for North Field Expansion project EPC-2 at RLIC.
• Authority Specialist (QCDD, MOI, MME & Kharamaa) consultant for Qatar Duty Free projects at Hamad International Airport.
• GE Substation, Warehouse and Chemical stripping plant at WSSA Raslaffan.
• Fire Fighting Infrastructure work at Qatar University Campus.
• Red Line North (QU Station, Lusail station, stabling yard, technical building and ITPS), Red Line South (Wakra, EX and RBF station).
• Jotun Qatar Factory Project.
• City Hypermarket at Salwa road.
• Modification of existing RLIC facility for Jaidah Energy (Warehouse, Chemical store and Office buildings) at WSSA Raslaffan.
• Fit out projects for various branches of MONOPRIX, ALMEERA and CENTRPOINT.

Responsibilities
• Design coordination with the consultant and client to finalize the project requirements.
• Team management to allocate the workforce to carry out the project responsibilities.
• Handling the team to prepare the submittals such as material submittal, project execution plan, project procurement plan, project manpower and transportation plan including the guidance and demonstration of tasks to the team.
• Preparing shop drawings based on the IFC drawing/authority approved drawings for consultant/client approval.
• Preparing material submittal based on the project requirements and complying with the construction standards.
• Preparing method statement for electrical and ELV system installation T&C activities.
• Preparing procurement schedule and negotiate wit the supplier to procure the materials within the project budget.
• Attending the project review meeting with the client and consultant to brief about the project progress and assure the progress is in the approved project schedule.
• Attending the inspections for electrical and ELV system along with the consultant and client; obtaining approvals from the authority for the same.
• Preparing as built drawings based on the site condition and obtaining approval from the consultant and client.
• Preparing O&M manual and closeout documents for the electrical and ELV systems.
• Obtaining the completion certificate from the consultant and client for the project closeout.

Responsibilities
• Taking care of Electrical works (Installation of conduits, trunking, wiring, cable laying, Installation of electrical instruments, Fire Alarm system Installation).
• Preparing shop drawing and coordinate with the consultants to get the approval for the drawings and material submittals to execute the work at site.
• Making the project schedule for the projects and ensure the work is going on as per the schedule.
• Coordinate with the subcontractors for smooth operation and on time completion.
• Negotiating with the suppliers to get the materials lower than our budget cost.
• Ensure the quality of the supplied materials as well as the installations.
• Attending the progress meeting with the client, consultant and management team.
• Ensure the site safety as well as the employee's safety.
• Conducting the tests and preparing the test reports of electrical works to get the approval from client/consultant.
• Preparing As built drawings and closeout report for project closeout. Major Projects Handled:
• Independent villas, Apartment buildings and commercial complexes.

Preparation of shop drawings, project schedules, procurement schedules and manpower
schedules for the projects.
▪ Project estimation, planning, installation and testing of electrical and ELV systems in the
fit-out projects.
▪ Well experienced in handling all responsibilities and problems related with construction
sites.
▪ Preparation of Method Statements for electrical and ELV Installation and Commissioning
activities including the checklists.
▪ Installation of Panels, SMDBs & DBs and prepare the schedule for daily activities and
submitting daily reports to the top management.
▪ Installation of Cable trays, trunking, Supports and Cable pulling, Termination and Testing
for Power and Control Cables.
▪ Installation of Addressable/Conventional Fire Alarm Control Panels and different types of
devices like Smoke detector, Duct detector, Sounder, Manual call point, LED indicators,
Auxiliary power supply panels, Relays, Interface units.
▪ Conducted meeting with site supervisors/Foreman and Technicians to explain the site
activities, Project Schedule and Safety procedures.
▪ Conducting the pre-commissioning activities for Fire Alarm Systems and Electrical works.
▪ Maintenance of Electrical equipment’s like MV panels, SMDB, DBs and Fire Alarm
System.
▪ Coordinate with sub-contractor to complete the project within the project schedule.
▪ Preparation of Commissioning reports, Test reports and handing over reports.
▪ Preparing Material submittals, Shop drawings and As-Built drawing submittals, RFIs,
Inspection requests for the Consultants.
▪ Participating in weekly meeting with consultant, Clients and all Contractors.
▪ Planning and Monitoring the Installation of all Electrical works.
▪ Co-coordinating with all MEP services.
▪ Testing and Commissioning of all Electrical Works and preparation of Reports.
