Roles Responsibilities:

• Inspection of Welding / painting / HSS(Heat shrink sleeve) Coating, flooding, pigging of offshore carbon steel pipelines, Tie in joints, risers and structures.
• Client QC in charge on the NPCC barges DLB1000 and DLB 750.
• To make sure all the QC activities are performed as per the specification and procedures for the project.
• Advice contractor’s QC and field engineers to improve on the quality related activities
• Review and sign daily inspection reports
• Assist with ADMA Representative on board for other construction activities
• Make sure all the equipment and instruments used in the production are calibrated and certified.
• To ensure all the welding/painting/coating personals are qualified and approved.
• Ensure all the previous punch lists are closed and raise new punch lists for remaining activities.
• Witness blasting, blasting profile test, salt contamination test, dust test, degree of cleanliness, preheating, epoxy application, Heat shrink sleeve, and HDPU filling.
• Control of non-destructive examinations and of the heat treatments performed. Witness all NDE/NDT, Heat treatment, PMI, Hardness testing, etc.
• Interpretation of radiographic test films with applicable standards and codes.
• Witnessing and reviewing the Welding Procedures, painting/Coating procedures, and NDT procedures for the projects.
• Witnessing the flooding & pigging activities of all subsea pipelines.
• Preparing and closing out of the punch lists in fabrication and installations of offshore structures.
• Coordinate with the contractor QC inspector for the installation of Jackets, platforms and subsea pipelines in Offshore.
• Review and approval of all the daily inspection reports submitted by the Contractor’s QC inspector.
• Coordinate with the production team for planning and scheduling the production activities and also support them with quality related solutions for solving the problems.
• Able to ensure that all H&S procedures are met and maintained.
• In charge of quality department in barge activities at offshore site.

ENGINEERING

• Attending the client meeting and understand the specifications and requirements to prepare and review Welding procedure specification (WPS), Procedure qualification record (PQR) and Welder performance qualification (WPQ) according to ASME Sec 1X and the client requirements.
