• Answer queries from Operations Manager -Delivery Planning on all matters related to Convoy Documentation, convoy team usage and reporting.
• Monitor operations to ensure that staff members comply with administrative policies and procedures, safety rules, union contracts, and government regulations.
• Promote safe work activities by conducting safety audits, attending company safety meetings, and meeting with individual staff members.
• Preparing a monthly delivery plan which details weekly delivery schedule for both air, sea and road deliveries to MINUSMA 48 team sites.
• Manage the entire vehicle fleet of more than 50 trucks from Contractors and other vehicles.
• Scheduling of the vehicles and assigning contractors as per the transport operation matrix.
• Organizing vehicles replacements.
• Handles the safe delivery of merchandise directly to consumers or other organizations.
• Working with suppliers and customers, planning routes and scheduling delivery times.
• Making sure that the operation meets its targets i.e. timely deliveries thus no APL deductions on deliveries.
• Developing a day-to-day order de mission for each delivery that is linked to the DNs, trucks details and GDCL.
• Direct investigations to verify and resolve customer or shipper complaints in relation to verification reports of damages and less received.
• Direct activities related to dispatching, routing, and tracking transportation vehicles, such as aircraft and railroad cars.
• Plan, organize and manage the work of subordinate staff to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with organizational requirements.
• Direct investigations to verify and resolve customer or shipper complaints.
• Serve as contact persons for all workers within assigned territories.
• Implement schedule and policy changes.
• Collaborate with other managers and staff members in order to formulate and implement policies, procedures, goals, and objectives.
