• Being the focal point of contact, responsible for the governance and oversight activities of all Radiation Protection (NORM Management) activities, and monitor the execution of its program, processes and procedures to ensure standardization and achieve the highest level of safety and reliability.

• Identify any potential Radiation Safety issues, analyze cause effects and take appropriate actions with reporting to the management of Radiation Protection.
• Also works in a field environment for conducting Radiation surveys and/or collecting samples. Responsible for surveying and segregating Radiation contaminated equipment
• Designs, implements, and tests systems and procedures to reduce volume and dispose of waste materials and contaminated objects: Identifies objects contaminated by exposure to radiation, such as trash, workers' clothing, and discarded tools and equipment.
• Co-ordinate and Monitor field activities at the assigned sites and also supervise the crew of Radiation Protection officers, technicians, helpers and NORM carriers.
• Preparing and presenting site activity reports, transportation documents, Job Service tickets and other supporting documents to the client.
• Assist the client to perform audit of the NORM Storage facilities and responsible for proper communication to ensure improved customer satisfaction.

• Works in a field environment (work over rigs) for conducting NORM surveys and/or collecting samples. Responsible for surveying and segregating NORM contaminated tubular and other down hole equipment as they come out of the well bore during work over operations.
• Work in a field environment for serving as the NORM Radiation Safety Officer for remediation projects
• Responsible for NORM waste management, pollution prevention, and waste minimization
• Perform and prepare for internal and external audits and facility inspections
• Ability to support corporate management in design of NORM decontamination and/or disposal facilities
• Ensures all provisions of the NORM Worker Protection Plan are implemented
• Ensures that all personnel working in a NORM restricted area are made aware of their
responsibilities
• Responsible for the “Posting of Notices to Workers” for facilities and sites that are
NORM contaminated
• Responsible to ensure personnel working on or with contaminated facilities, sites, or equipment are provided instruction and training applicable to their duties. In addition, it
is the responsibility of the RSO to ensure all personnel conduct themselves in
accordance with these instructions and training.
• Responsible to see that personnel protective equipment, survey meters, wash facilities,
contamination control material, placards, inserts, labels, etc., are available to implement
the NORM Worker Protection Plan.
• The RSO is responsible to ensure that all personnel are aware of and implement the
ALARA (as low as reasonably achievable) concept.
• Designs, implements, and tests systems and procedures to reduce volume and dispose of nuclear waste materials and contaminated objects: Identifies objects contaminated by exposure to radiation, such as trash, workers' clothing, and discarded tools and equipment.
• Refers to state and federal regulations and technical manuals to determine disposal method recommended for prevention of leakage or absorption of radioactive waste.
• Oversees construction, testing, and implementation of waste disposal systems, and resolves operational problems.
• Develops plans for modification of operating procedures to reduce volume and radioactive level of wastes and writes manuals to instruct workers in changes in work procedures.
• Responsible to identify various Treatment and Disposal of NORM-impacted wastes includes segregation/volume reduction methods, treatment/solidification methods, and disposal methods.

Asset Co-Ordinator Responsibilities
• Manage a portfolio of assets including fixed assets, equipment including vehicles, infrastructure and buildings, identifying the best uses of the property.
• Hire, train and supervise staff members, assigning activities and evaluating employee performance for the maintenance of all the assets.
• Make sure all the assets are listed in the SLB assets management software RITE enable to track all the preventive maintenance to be done on time.
• Ensure that all the maintenance, failures, waiting on parts equipment are updated in the database.
• Ensure that all the spare parts for the smooth operation of all assets are available in the store.
• Make sure spare parts required for the preventive maintenance are pre-ordered on a timely manner.
• Oversee leasing and development of property and participate in discussions about long term management of property.
• Prepare reports and give presentations on asset usage, financial performance, operations, and maintenance.
• Ensure databases recording property assets are up to date and accurate.

• Radiation Safety Officer Responsibilities -

• Ensure that possessed radioactive materials are authorized by the license.
• Ensure that users of radioactive materials authorized by the license are
• properly trained.
• Ensure that all personnel requiring a personal dosimeter are issued one and
• that the employees are notified of their dose at least annually.
• Ensure that all dose limits are met and that ALARA (As Low as Reasonably Achievable) is implemented in the facility.
• Ensure that calibrated survey meters are available and that required surveys
• are completed.
• Ensure that all radioactive materials are stored in a storage facility appropriate for the type of material.
• Ensure that all radioactive materials are properly transported.
• Complete an audit of the facilities at least annually.
• Maintain the records set out in the Schlumberger Radiation Protection Program.
• Implement all other components of the Schlumberger Radiation Protection Program not specifically mentioned above.
• Responsible for organizing the inventory (Visual, Photo & Leak tests) of all the sources available in our location and update the details in RMIS (Radioactive material Inventory System).
• Ensure that a Safety Evaluation is completed for Schlumberger-approved
• radioactive materials.
• Ensure that Schlumberger-approved radioactive materials have Special Form Certificates when required, and approved transport packaging as needed.
• Develop and maintain the Schlumberger Ionizing Radiation Safety Standard
• and Schlumberger Radiation Protection Program. Perform an annual review of both to ensure they meet both Regulatory and Corporate requirements.
• Develop and maintain the employee Radiation Safety Training program. Ensure that the Schlumberger Radiation Protection Program is properly implemented. Plan and conduct training for the Geomarket Radiation Safety Officers. Provide worldwide emergency and technical assistance, as needed.
• Organizes and delivers shop and classroom based training to all Field Population on all Radiation related policies and standards.
1) Identifies weaknesses and addresses with specific training, in conjunction with SDM.
2) Provide emergency and technical assistance, as needed on Radiation related subjects.

TRAINING

• Undergone training for Onsite Radiation Safety Officer from Schlumberger radioactive product center (Level 3), Houston, Texas.
• Undergone basic HSE training from Schlumberger, Kuwait and certified in basic HSE policies (Level 1 & 2).
• Undergone training for Radiation Safety Officer from MINISTRY OF HEALTH, KUWAIT and obtained license for the same.

Driller Trainee and had good experience in working with Roustabouts, Floorman and Derrickman. Familiar with all the tools and equipments in a Drilling Rig.

Scrutiny of Tenders: Analysis of tenders and their specification thereby analyzing the feasibility of offer that could be made in a positive way.

Offer Making: Responsible to make project offers taking into consideration the competitiveness of the product. The minimum contribution needed is also taken into consideration before quoting due to the reasons of heavy competition.

Forecasting: Analysis of past order booking data, current trends in order booking and organizing for manufacture of required valves to be kept in stock to facilitate despatch of customer orders having short delivery period.

Management Information System Reports: Responsible for Taking Monthly and Weekly Reports based on the orders booked on the corresponding months. As a part of it to got a chance to forecast the Product mix wise Budget for the year 2009.
