• Monitoring daily Ship operations. Giving instructions to the ships, on owner’s behalf regarding next
loading/discharging ports.
• Appointing shipping agencies to attend our company ships, for the
port.
• Coordinating with shipping agencies regarding all cargo and ship
documents required for each port.
• Monitoring Daily noon reports form the ships.
• Monitoring all ship requisitions and arranging the spares for the
ships.
• Monitoring all ship certificates.
• Assisting Technical Manger in preparing our ships for SIRE
Inspections, Annual and Intermediate Surveys etc.
• Cross checking the DA issued by the agency for our ships.
• Monitoring of all ship certificates and preparation of arrival and departure port papers.
• In-charge of LSA and FFA inspection onboard a ship.
• In-charge of inventory management of LSA and FFA equipment.
• Responsible for operation and testing of GMDSS Communication equipment like VHF, MF/HF, INMARSAT, Navtex and other equipments.
• Responsible for cargo operation during loading and discharging.
• Responsible for navigation and voyage planning from one port to another.
• In-charge of support squad during an emergency.
• Trainer of all the newly joined crew members onboard a ship.
• Monitoring of all ship certificates and preparation of arrival and departure port papers.
