LOGISTIC OFFICER
To coordinate with the buyers of various department for knowing their
procurement plan and advising the mode of shipment.
* Colleting the copy of shipping documents and maintain the ETA.
* Coordinate with the buyers as well as accounts department for collecting the
original documents.
* Liaise with the warehouse team for offloading the daily scheduled containers
and reporting to purchase team in regard of quantity received.
* Reporting to accounts departments, if any damage occurred during the time
of offloading the cargo and arrange inspection with insurance company.
* In charge at seaport for coordinating with the local customs clearance agent
for clearing the FCL shipments as per our schedule and LCL from respective
sheds.
* Communicate with major shipping lines and forwarder to enquire about the
arrival of shipments.
* Prepare monthly report for FCL, LCL, AIR and COURIER shipments.
* Generate the cargo declaration and sharing with accounts team on the basis of shipments sailed in every
month.
* Acquiring the ministry approval for getting duty exemption for newly imported machinery as well as
chemicals from ministry of environment.
* Preparing FCL & LCL forecast on weekly basis and share with procurement team for maintaining factory
arrival date.
* Arrange the dispatch by generating invoice for sample items and defective materials through
courier/forwarder.
* In coordinating with warehouse team for packing spare parts and dispatch with finished goods as 1% FOC
spare parts.
* To release the shipped spare parts quantity from stock through ERP LN software.
