Importation & distribution of milk powder in Nigeria

Responsibilities :

-Responsible for delivering topline of $60M per annum
-Leading a big sales team of 3 RSMs, 6 ASMs & 20 SEs.
-Products positioning & launching of new products in the market
-Identify gaps & opportunity to spearhead NPD in co-ordination with R&D team
-Developing and cultivating relationships with 60+ distributors across Nigeria spanning 36 states
-Market insights & distribution models for untapped geographies


Achievements :

-Excellent relationship with customers
During covid, personal meetings were not possible. I capitalized on my relationship with customers to grow volume 20% YOY.

-Distribution models
Implemented 3rd party warehousing which enabled us to serve far-fl ung places.Not only additional volumes were captured but GCs also improved.

-Topline & bottom line numbers
In fy-22, Nigerian currency plummeted. Still, I was able to leverage import numbers & market insights which helped us to double our bottom line YOY.
