Daily site inspections of the facilities and expansion projects.
Reporting contractors Non-compliance to consultant for immediate rectification.
Managing and updating daily reports and records.
Attending weekly department meetings.
Closely monitoring the PTW issued to contractors.
Inspecting COVID-19 procedures are implemented across Airport facility buildings.
Monitoring compliance and Non-compliance of COVID-19 procedures by staff.
Performing weekly office safety inspections of Hamad International Airport offices.
Performing monthly Management inspection for damage property across facilities.
Attending meetings (coordination, Task Launch, ) with contractor & subcontractors.
Ensuring the procedures are fully up to date and followed.
Creating awareness of hazards associated with the use of, toxic, irritant & flammable chemicals and other aspects of occupational health hazards. Implementing work procedures and monitoring the housekeeping that will ensure safe operation.
Keeping & updating of all safety related records.
Leading the investigation of accidents or incidents and making recommendation on corrective actions and modified procedures to avoid recurrences.
Make examination of tools and equipment involved in incidents to prevent continued use of defective items.
Closely monitoring PTW for the safe operation of activities on site.
Work closely in co-operation with the line manager to eliminate all unsafe practices in hazardous conditions if necessary.
Carry out daily site inspections of all welfare and construction areas to ensure that HSE standards are being maintained and works are carried out in accordance with the Work Method Statement, the HSE Plan/Procedures and the relevant legislation.
Act as an observer of the works being carried out, advise construction team on any HSE concerns, recognize unsafe situations and intervene with them to rectify it.
Conducting toolbox talk and training sessions for Task Briefing to workers and staff.
Produce daily observations reports for HSE management (sent to all concerns person for action) and monitor their effective closure. Produce other reports for HSE Management, when requested.
Ensure summer time measures are in place and on time and monitor the Heat stress index.
Controlling & Managing Sub-Contractors HSE team on site for controlling Risk & Hazards and providing guidance for safe working.
Conducting onsite induction to visitors.
Preparing Relevant signages for tasks.
Conducting Fire Drill & Emergency Medical Response Drill to ensure & check safe evacuation, & behavior of workforce during emergency situations.
