Working as a Chemist or Transformer oil condition monitoring. Have also 8 yrs exp in 1980 MW CCPP with instrument like IC, ICP, VA, pH, conductivity meter etc.
Analysis of Transformer oil as per IEC and reporting to KAHRAMAA.
Sampling & Testing Programs:
•Set-up/execute instruments calibration, sampling & testing program.
Data Maintaining & Reporting:
•Maintain Instruments Calibration Data.
•Review Test Results to determine deviation from normal parameter & prepare final reports.
Analytical Monitoring:
•Supervise/support samples testing like water, natural gas, lube oil, transformer oil, bulk chemicals etc.
Communicating Lab Results:
•Maintain historical data base and trend for each particularly tested equipment.
•Issue lab monthly report for the activities, performance, events, sampling & testing statistics.
Quality check:
•Develop QA/QC program for the lab and ensure full compliance to maintain lab testing accuracy and precision within acceptable limitation provided by international standards for each testing method.
Chemicals & instruments:
•Maintain record for the stock of the chemicals & instruments procured & consumables & report to laboratory head as per requirement.
•Responsible in issuing required PR to maintain lab operations stock material, chemicals and equipment.
Team Spirit:
•Working in line with the Work Management System.
•Trains other employees in methods, application and operating instruments as required
Communication:
•Communicate all the relevant input and output to the superiors & other departments as per requirement.
Policies & Procedures:
•Develop all the necessary procedures and guidelines controlling the lab activities for sampling, testing, reporting, etc. to assure that the work is carried out in a controlled manner & for continuous improvement.
Work on Laboratory Instrument:
Agilent GC with Headspace for TOGA
Responsible for all aspects of power plant chemistry like water/steam cycle chemistry by analyzing & monitoring PT Plant, DM water, HRSG, Cooling water, Chemical dosing, etc.
Good knowledge of the operation of DM Water production through Ion - Exchange.
Lubricating oil, Transformer oil & R-LNG & Natural Gas analysis.
Ability to detect operating defects or faults in laboratory instruments.
Strong ability to work with modern analytical Instruments.
•Executing inspection upon request from Inspection coordinator (IC), verifying that all information provided for inspection execution is complete and allows executing inspection without problem.
•Reporting to IC Coordinator any deviation of standard procedures according to GIS Quality Manual, SGS Policy and SGS Ethic Code.
•Any task assigned by local IC office
Completed B.Sc in May 1999 from Mumbai University with Chemistry as a Major Subject.
