pipelines with the attendant demolition of some existing top side and onshore facilities and re-
construction/modification scope of work including the associated Pre-commissioning activities.
✓ I generated interface task plans within CONTRACTOR and SUBCONTRACTOR site management for
coordination of mechanical completion preparation and execution efforts.
✓ Set up material tracking sheets to ensure that construction and Pre-commissioning materials are not delayed
for logistical reasons.
✓ I reviewed Electrical and instrument installation procedures for pipeline and surface facilities cathodic
protection systems, reviewed testing method statements for installed electrical cables, trays, junction boxes,
motorised valves, hydraulic and pneumatic actuated valves, cathodic protection systems from
SUBCONTRACTOR
✓ I developed project pre-commissioning task sheets, generated Pre-commissioning procedures and
associated task plans for FCG, Deoiling, Hydrotest, Leaktesting, Calliper pigging, and Nitrogen purging, and

EGINA FPSO OLT SPS | An engineering, procurement, construction commissioning and MIEC project with Total
Upstream Nigeria, and the deliverable is one of the largest Deep sea turret type Oil Loading Terminal Buoy sea-
fastened 2km from the EGINA FPSO using nine (9) mooring chains. The topside equipment is about two thousand
(2000) tagged items and consisted of sixty (60) 108watt solar panels, three battery banks rated 3000Ah, station-
keeping NAVAID equipment, Shutdown Valve and associated hydraulic accumulators, solenoid switches and pumps,
hydraulic pressure unit, main and auxiliary 400 ton Winches, Monorails and trolleys, padeyes and eye bolts, fibre
optic cable link to FPSO, Telemetry link to Tanker and FPSO, Master Telemetry Unit control system, Allen Bradley
redundant control system master and slave, buoy hull compartments, load cells and inclinometers, power control
system, NAVAID control system.
✓ I generated planning and interface documents/marked-up drawings for Pre-commissioning and
commissioning of the OLT Buoy for Basic/detailed engineering to plant start-up.
✓ I established interdisciplinary interface documentation such the operational test procedures, Electrical and
Instrument functional test procedures, cause and effect shutdown matrix/chart in conjunction with
VENDORS, E&I Leads and COMPANY.
✓ Ensured that EC&I construction contractors working within the discipline adhere strictly to the latest
Approved for Construction (AFC) project drawings, Specifications, ITP's, Procedures, and Site Instructions
✓ Responsible for the HSES and quality aspects of the work within assigned areas and for ensuring construction
contractors complete their work in accordance with the project schedule
✓ In conjunction with the contractors' supervision, planning engineers, and the Construction Engineer, develop
detailed daily and weekly work plans in accordance with the overall planning schedule
✓ Ensure that the discipline leads scope of work is completed in a timely and cost effective manner
✓ Be responsible for the contract management of contractors with respect to site instructions, variation
orders, invoice approval, claim notifications, daily diary records, people on site, equipment on site etc.

✓ Check protection devices during walk downs and ensure their correct operation.
✓ During the field pre-commissioning and Commissioning, I coordinated discipline engineers to carry out the

planning is synchronised with established project timelines.

▪ I was responsible for the Installation, of pre-calibrated field Instruments as (Pressure, temperature, flow, level) as required according to the project specification and codes.
