Leading HR department for Otis Qatar and providing HR services, Operational, Strategic and business support. The role reports
into the Country Manager and HR Director, ME.
Key Accountabilities and responsibilities:
⚫ Responsible for preparing and managing HR strategy and annual/quarterly HR budget. Work closely with business heads
to assess their requirements and finalise the budget.
⚫ Responsible for Employment cost and headcount planning.
⚫ Prepare, process and implement HR policies. Communication of policies to employees and assess feedbacks on the new
implementations.
⚫ Implemented and oversee Operational business processes - Leave and Absent management, Payroll, Employee Separation
and subsequent file management, business induction of new hires, Feedback process.
⚫ Implementation of new HR programs - Employee engagement, Corporate Responsibility initiatives, Employee Wellbeing,
Motivational engagements. Work with senior leadership in recommending and implementing programs to sustain positive
employee morale and increase employee engagement and retention
⚫ Prepare and finalise performance appraisals for Qatar office.
⚫ Prepare payroll, address all staff queries concerning payroll.
⚫ Recruitment - Interview candidates, negotiate salary and send out offer letters.
⚫ Onboarding of new employees, prepare onboarding material.
⚫ Do regular site and accommodation visits to ensure that company is compliant as per Qatar Law and Supreme committee
requirements
⚫ Conduct investigations related to staff’s misconduct, absenteeism, grievances, ethical complaints and leaves. Prepare
incident report for General Manager, Head of Ethics and Head of HR, aligned with HR Best Practices and Code of Conduct.
⚫ Successful implementation of Oracle and Workday projects, part of the project management team

Responsible for leading the delivery of Human Capital (HC) services and providing operational and strategic support to business

both local and global hires

⚫ Coach and counsel staff on firm’s policies and procedures and country’s labour law. ⚫ Conduct terminations and
exit interviews, and prepare final settlements ⚫ Prepare staff letters - Bonus, salary increase, banks, salary, etc.
⚫ Prepare detailed report for the leadership team (Middle east and global) - gender diversity, promotions, new hires, headcount,
etc.
⚫ Hold monthly meetings with Partners and directors to understand business requirements from HR, discuss staff issues and
provide suggestions.
⚫ Resolve all HR matters with staff with acute focus on minimalizing legal and reputational exposure while upholding
employee engagement and code of conduct ⚫ Oversee Immigration requirements and process.
⚫ Developed effective filing system to comply with the regional and audit requirements
