I am currently heading Export Division with sales team of 4 people and exporting to over 20 countries across the globe.
Ensure Export division volume and profit goals are achieved as defined by the annual plan.
To develop and maintain a budget for export sales.
Develop and implement a brand strategy for assigned export markets that guides development and brand treatment including brand position and marketing strategy.
Assist distributors in development of marketing, promotional and public relations programs that compliment the brand strategy for business development.
Develop annual plans for the assigned markets and roadmap regarding future exports
Responsible for development of in-country partnerships, manufacturing, marketing and sales specifically, contract negotiation, marketing plan development and execution, new product launches, annual sales/promotion plan, and broker management.
Develop, analyze, and implement cost reduction strategies for the international business teams.
Managing an healthy environment in which all team members are trained, developed and motivated to improve both their individual and team contributions to achieve desired business results.
Act as a focal point for all customer inquiries/issues relating to order, price, credit, logistics, customs, damage, shipping, or related items.
Manage External Agencies like Customs Agent, Freight Forwarders & Inspection Agencies etc
Ensure complete export sales cycle is processed in SAP.
Ensuring compliance with export procedures/policies, develop corrective action plans to correct deficiencies and/or add new controls for meeting regulatory changes.
Monitor and analyze legal changes (in conjunction with in-house and outside counsel) affecting export requirements and adjust the Company’s export program as appropriate.
Collaborate with the Company’s foreign offices and facilities regarding international export compliance issues.
