I am handling Finance & Commercial of 5 businesses in the logistics cluster of the Rezayat Group in KSA .
My major achievements so far are :
- Initiated and took the lead in reducing the finance manpower which resulted in a significant savings
- Established SOP’s for credit controls, year end Audits, procurement, etc
- Re organised the logistics credit controls, collected old stuck debts
- Identified revenue leakages in JV company and established the process flow
- Established a sound MIS in the group whereby Flash reports are submitted to management by the end of first week every month
- Plugged cases of fraud by dishonest employees in the group
- Brought a major change in accounting policies for depreciation on capex ( which has resulted in preparation of accurate bids )
- Established budgetary controls and delegation of authorities for each BU in the cluster
This was my first Job where i joined as an executive trainee in Finance and actually started training from October, 1998 . I started confirmed role w.e.f.Feb, 2000 as Finance officer . I got 2 promotions on time during my stay in NTPC for 7 years when i left finally as Deputy Manager .I got the opportunity to work in various domains of finance & Accounts .
I am additionally a qualified ICWA and CS ( up to Final group -I) . Additionally I am rank holder in CA & CS exams.
