▪ Reviewing existing SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) of the
company and identifying the Gaps in the existing SOPs.
▪ Recognizing the availability of the SOP manuals in the intranet.
▪ Deciding the improvements and the modifications to be made to existing
SOPs with the team leader and the relevant process handlers.
▪ Finalizing the newly improved SOPs with the team leader.
▪ Submitting the finalized SOPs to top management getting
recommendations and uploading and circulating the new
amendments of SOPs to the internal employees.
Responsibilities:
▪ Analyzing customer profiles based on the files received from branches to ensure the creditworthiness of the customers.
▪ Evaluate the risk associated with potential borrowers and recommend appropriate credit limits and terms.
▪ Giving individual impartial opinions and comments based on the profiles within the limits of the TAL (Transaction Authority Limits.)
▪ Provide recommendations to the Credit Officer regarding credit approvals, terms, and any necessary risk mitigations.
▪ Assist in the preparation and maintenance of loan documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal guidelines.
▪ Ensure that all credit-related activities align with company policies and regulatory requirements.
▪ Engaging as a team member in new process developments, contributing to renewing procedure manuals with new system and process
improvements.
▪ Training junior members and sharing knowledge.
▪ Awareness of mitigating the risk.
Responsibilities:
▪ Engaging authorizing in all the operational functions at the branch (Engaging all authorizations including cash, deposit authorizations, gold loan authorizations, etc.)
▪ Handling all leasing, loans, and property loans (Charges calculations, preparing checklists, signing, and authorizing files) and ensuring the documentation is properly executed.
▪ Involving Credit Operations functions including an appraisal of customer profiles with respective quality parameters within the branch level.
▪ Coordinating branch staff and supporting them to enhance their skills.
▪ Addressing customer inquiries and maintaining positive relationships with them.
▪ Monitoring the functions related to the Credit Officer / Customer Service Officer / Teller.
Responsibilities:
Engaging Credit Functions
▪ Evaluating Customer profiles based on 5 C’s (Credit Analysis)
▪ Collecting necessary and required documents to process the loan files.
▪ Processing Credit Files based on individual customer needs.
▪ Engaging the part of the post-disbursement follow-ups in relation to the disbursed loans and leases to maintain the Collection Ratio of the branch.
▪ On-boarding customers and ensuring customer due diligence.
▪ Reporting suspicious transactions to the Risk Department.
▪ Adhering to the Compliance Policy of the company.
Engaging Customer Service Operations (CSO) Functions
▪ Engaging account opening-related functions.
▪ Preparing checklists and documentation.
▪ Ensuring customer due diligence/KYC and related functions.
▪ Issuing debit cards.
▪ Engaging fixed deposit operations and related functions.
▪ Engaging in proper documentation scanning and archiving functions.
▪ Assisting the main teller / gold loan officer.
▪ Assisting branch operations in charge.
Volunteer contributor as a data entry operator of the independent survey launched for the project conducted related to collecting data regarding the
population scattered on Nugegoda- suburbs identifying the better living
conditions.
