Responsible for overseeing and ensuring the implementation of quality control processes across all phases of the project lifecycle. I lead the development and execution of Project-Specific Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), quality procedures, and documentation to meet both client requirements and class requirements. My role also involves maintaining high-level coordination with project teams, clients, and third-party auditors to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory guidelines.Project Quality Planning: Responsible for the creation, review, and approval of project-specific Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), quality procedures, and quality control documentation, ensuring alignment with client specifications and regulatory requirements.

Audit Management: Lead client audits, including RFQ (Request for Quotation) audits, and third-party audits. Ensure that all project quality standards are met and documented throughout the process.

Compliance & Documentation: Manage the documentation of company procedures, policies, and quality standards. Ensure that all projects comply with ISO and other relevant industry certifications.

Final Project Dossier: Responsible for compiling and reviewing the final project dossier to ensure that all documentation, testing results, and quality certificates are accurately captured and stored for future reference.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure all quality processes are implemented correctly across projects. Collaborate with teams to continuously improve project workflows and efficiency.

Training & Development: Lead quality-related training sessions for employees and contractors to ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures. Foster a quality-driven culture within the organization.

Problem Solving & Improvement: Act as a key point of contact for quality-related issues, working to resolve challenges quickly and effectively. Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements within the quality management system.

WELDING ENGINEERING AND LEAD QC TEAM

 Expertise in conducting the Piping, Structural, Certification and Painting inspections.
 Internal and Sub contractor audits.
 Expertise in preparing project quality documents as per contract or project specification.
 Final certification inspection with DNV and Lloyd’s for lifting equpments, offshore container and drilling equipments.
 Painting inspection as per project requirements.
 Witnessing and co-ordianting load testing.

 Reviewing and approving engineering drawings and P&IDs with reference to design data and class rules.
 Witnessing onboard inspections such as NDT and pressure tests.
 Fabrication inspection of pipe spools in workshop.
 Attending project meeting with contractors and sub contractors.
 Managing sub contractors’ activities.
 Welder qualification and PQR reviewing and witnessing.
 Quality procedure review and approving.
 NCR and Site Memos reporting.
 Material Inspections and Quantity survey during installation inspection.
 Tank dry survey prior to testing.
 Document follow up and reviewing as per ITP.
 Attending inspections with classification society.
 Monitoring the project progress and reporting to DGM and head office.
 Regular auditing to shipyard and their sub contractors.
 Reviewing of risk assessments involving in effected jobs.

 Responsible for managing and implementing Quality System for the following:
• Leading projects, involving and controlling all quality issues with project team.
• Preparing ITP, NDT PLAN, and PQP according to project specification and class requirement.
• Preparing of risk assessments of effected jobs in department.
• Conducting classes for subordinates regularly.
• Played a key role in monitoring and documenting QA/QC activities as per the established Quality Control Plan (QCP) & Inspection Test Plans (ITP) and procedures approved in the Project Quality Plan (PQP).
• Reviewing quotations from sub contractors and approving quotations.
• Coordinated all inspections, monitor the required tests and record inspections and tests made as per the Contract Plan and project specifications and attainment of quality requirement.
• Conducting material identification & inspection and timely reporting of non-conforming material.
• Significantly contributed in preparing Procedure Qualification Record (PQR), Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) and Welder Qualification Test Report (WQPT) as per site / project requirements.
• Engaged in negotiating and controlling welders repair rate and maintaining welders’ map for each project.
• Conducting visual inspection for surface appearance and weld soundness.
 Conducting extensive inspection for the following:
• Witnessing of high/low pressure hydro testing of valves and piping systems.
• Visual inspection for leak detection.
• Monitoring pressure gauges and recording for any significant pressure drop.
• Recording test results.
• Coordinating with consultants, class surveyors, clients and sub contractors.
• Approving final documentation.
 Engaged in preparing test packs according to the P & ID and carefully sorting out all the documents related with each project.
 Involved in preparing & verifying production documents & ensuring submission of final document to the client.

 Conducting extensive inspection for the following:
• Pre-test punch listing, release for pressure test.
• Verifying calibration of pressure gauges.
• Verifying NDT status.
• Checking test pressure requirement.
• Witnessing of high/low pressure hydro testing of valves and piping systems.
• Visual inspection for leak detection.
• Monitoring pressure gauges and recording for any significant pressure drop.
• Recording test results.
• Coordinating with consultants, class surveyors, clients and sub contractors.
• Ensuring chemical cleaning, flushing of piping systems.
• Reinstatement of punch listing.
• Releasing for commissioning.
• Preparation of final documentation.
