I am an Associate Professor of Surgery of the University of Rome "Tor Vergata" (Italy)with 21 years of experience in teaching General Surgery in the Medical School, in the Dental School and Nursing School. I am Head of a Section of General Surgery with a special interest in Colorectal Surgery and Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery in the Villa Tiberia Hospital in Rome, Italy, one of the university Hospitals. I have in my service two staff General Surgeons and 2 rotating Residents in General Surgery. I hold 3 days/week of surgery in operating room, two days of outpatient clinic and Endoscopy/week. My duty include letures in the University, evaluation of student tests and doctoral thesis.
I am an USA trained General and Colorectal Surgeon, as you can see in my CV I spent five years in the Cleveland Clinic Foundation were I was Resident in General Surgery, Resident in Colorectal Surgery, and Research Fellow in Colorectal Surgery, I also won a Fogarty international Fellowship by NIH of USA.
