Co-ordination with various freight forwarders / airlines / carriers / airport handling agents, transporters for various freight operations.
Handling various customers, updating them of their cargo details, updating of cargo position reports etc.
Arranging loading / offloading of cargo(s).
Managing cross trade shipments to and from different parts of the world.
Arranging customs clearance / duties/ inspection procedures.
Maintaining weekly shipment / cargo movement reports.
Generating links / targets for increasing sales for the company.
Knowledge of Freight forwarding processes and government regulations of international and domestic logistics
Advising the most suitable, effective and efficient transport
Analyzing various types of products and equipment’s
Handling of special projects for Oil & Gas/GHQ/Exhibition Cargos
Responsible for all on site aspects of the logistics, supply chain, and customer delivery operations. In charge of making sure that each stage of the distribution process is progressing on time, on budget and to the right quality standards.
Handling queries related to rates, services &documentation for both Import/ Cross trade & Air consignments.
Managing logistics, Transportation, Documentation and warehousing and Custom formalities for Air consignments.
Responsible for the DO counter, checking and tracking of shipments, updating the customers and the overseas office about the freight arrival, opening Job file, clearance, delivery and updating DGF Logis system.
In charge of daily and monthly updates, reporting to the management.
Maintaining good relationships with the customers, overseas partners and solving queries efficiently and effectively
Responsible for timely Invoicing of the file and see that rates are applied as per the SOP and contract rates / Proper despatch of the invoices meeting the KPI’s
Responsible for making quotations, preparing invoices to local customers and intercompany.
Responsible for maintaining good relationship with the Airport Handling agent, Airlines & the Customs officials for the smooth handling of the operational activity.
Responsible for mail correspondence with the clients & overseas office within the time frame.
Providing and following up the teams’ efficiency and development.
Being responsible for monitoring and development of the KPI’s on product/branch level.
Observing personal performance and determining KPI’s with the team members.
Planning and implementing the training needs to provide opportunities for the team in order to improve the level of capability.
Developing new business, Coordinating with customers and maintaining customer data, Negotiating rates with airlines and shipping lines
